  • I'm back, but we'll see how long. Just need 100 hours to New Vegas and then I hit the one thousand hours with it.
Wasted entire night sleep beating Stage 4-4 on God Hand. I think it was worth of it.

    It wasn't.
I finally did it, completed Jak & Daxter 1 without using circle button at all. Take that Phil!

    DSP Phil or another Phil?

    Maybe Dr. Phil

Nah it's DarkSydePhil. Collected all 101 Cells, and I'm so fucking happy about it. Would like to know if anybody else has done that though.
I will admit that even with nostalgia goggles, Oblivion is a turd game, but Maskar's Overhaul really pushes it as GOTY in my view.

I played FNV without mods and i enjoyed it a lot. The last time i played Oblivion was with the unoficial patch and i had more issues with that game than i did with vanilla NV with no unofficial patch. I'm talking issues such as NPCs becoming essential for no reason, even though they aren't essential normally.

Even then vanilla FNV was a bug ridden mess at launch that crashed and killed save games. How many times did I have to work around broken quests? Too many friends. Too many. All due to the worst game engine in the business.

Black Angel, the latter. Wished the guy would make a game with all the stuff he made in that.
Norzan, I am aware of that it's shit. I still find likeable parts upon it, and wished that the game would be better than it was.
TorontRayne, I take it you think of me as fan of Bethesda games? Partially yes and no, since I don't like their latest games, starting since Skyrim was made.
    It's been 6 years since last time I played Jak3 on PS2.

people only see 15 hours as short because for the last 10 years games have been bloated with 150+ hours of filler open world bullshit.

True. I do have to say though that some of the open world games, though relatively few, are actually well made. Witcher 3, Dragon's Dogma, TES Daggerfall & Oblivion, those come in mind.

from my experience the only games that actually necessitate an open world are GTA and insomniac's spider-man. every other game uses it as a bullet on the box first and a design element second.
I bought [PROTOTYPE]. Basically what if Spider Man was Carnage/Venom with some amnesia plot, deus ex conspiracy and guns.
I dunno what is going on with Honest Hearts, but enemies respawn nearly out of nowhere or from behind the moment you walk few feet forward.

The PS3 versions of bethesda games are usually more broken than usual.

Well I don't think it's a bug that on one spot a gecko spawns, then when I come back just few hours later, dozen of Cazadors spawn.

It could be a bug with the timer for respawn of the cell. Maybe it just ran out of memory to keep track of it and it's just happening almost immediately.
So I avoided a leaping overhead attack of a "zombie" in Evil Within. I guess this is that "anime shit" my friend referred about my dodging.
I hate fever, it's like being in Sauna mixed with hangover.

There is a old saying from Japan that fools never catch colds, so on the bright side that you at least definitely not a fool.
Unmodded STALKER: Call of Pripyat finished. Good game, Pripyat was neat place, although Monolith can just piss off with their aimbots.

I always saw STALKER games as sandboxing games, and Call of Pripyat is the most polished one out of it. I won't deny SoC and CS has their charm, but CoP is really up-to-date.

Try the Call of Chernobyl mod. With addons, if possible. The ideal STALKER experience, in my opinion.

Mak, that is the essential mod for Call of Pripyat, all the time.
So this weekend I have been thinking about writing a script for comic book I would create. I'm afraid the drawing part would get me stuck.

I am also wirting the script for a comic, I am by chapter 2, I am gonna do the art and the coloring too so it's better if I stock up on episodes before I start drawing them.

I want to write hyper-realistic space warfare sci-fi but the writing part would get me stuck.

Walpknut, I was actually thinking about writing it up as a novel as a script, then fully create it once I would have good skills for it.
Because Let's Plays are overrated, I was thinking the pure way to do playthrough w/ commentary is by being drunk.

I would have a strong attachment between games and weed. Ritualistically puffing while gaming. I don't anymore, but at the time I thought games were unplayable in sober condition.

Buggy AI, glitches and just outright breaking the game by doing something unintended......
    good reasons to get drunk.

@zegh8578 Marijuana ruined that for me as well. I can't play Bioshock unless I get high.
