I think HIM (the band) uses it as a brand symbol now. HIM remains rather popular, which is why the symbol is still present.

I have always liked this one but it seems to me that the animation is becoming more extreme. Keep it subtle.

I haven't changed the animation. It is getting into your mind. This is part of the master plan of the Hierarchy.
 
It would stay at 8, but you get a 9 because I just noticed your location field has the word 'Shploinging' in it.
