Doesn't it kind of help the Napoleon argument that it took one of the greatest defensive tacticians in history to defeat him while in a weakened state? It's like saying Hannibal's a shitty general because Scipio Africanus beat him.

Triggered as fuck right now.
Napoleon built an Empire worthy to call it's self the successor to Rome within a single lifetime while fending off Western Europe. You guys drove boats around and conquered vastly weaker people some who hadn't even invented the wheel yet!

Topic's subject aside, I envy you guys' knowledge on historical figures and facts.
