Red-Tec Resources

I will edit old Weapon Project posts and update new ones to show the average muzzle velocity of the different calibers. By comparing real life impact energy modders will be able to convert those stats into game damage. Average impact energy will be calculated into joules.
When I eventually use these weapons in my own mod, I will be creating the damage of weaponry to be much more life-like and therefore damage values of firearms will be quite high. Most calibers above .38 are what is known as 'man stoppers' and can kill a man with one well placed bullet. Less than .38 can result in firing more rounds into a target to actually 'stop' them.

New pack 4 completed for Weapons Project.

.25 ACP is a difficult caliber to find weapons for it would seem. All firearms I researched would be compact pistols with the exception of the 'Lercker', which is an automatic machine-pistol. Decent backup weapons, but still to be used in the beginning of a game where damage is minimal.

Average muzzle velocity (Energy joules); 127 J

It's been a while since my last weapon pack, I have been very busy recently. Also in the time since then I have been tinkering away in the guns factory to create mt vast .22 LR pack. Finally it is complete and I am quite happy with the results. .22 "Long Rifle" is a low caliber long established variety of ammunition. First designed in 1857 and ever commonly used today, it was the most popular ammunition type of 2012. I had no problem in finding weapons for this caliber and had to shorten the extent of what I found, these are the ones I picked out.

The pack does not contain descriptions this time as the task of compiling them all into another text file just seemed too time consuming. I do have the descriptions if anyone needs them, but I suppose you could just use wikipedia for most factual descriptions.

Nice work dude.

BTW, is there a .22LR version of the Keltec PMR-30? I thought it was only available in .22 WMR.

Nice work, thanks RedMetal. I will definitely be using some of these in my mod (and give proper credit of course). Starting to get the hang of the editors now! Getting excited about the prospects of what I can create!

Clever...
You are absolutely right. But there is a conversion kit available. The main reason I decided to put the PMR-30 in this pack is because I am not creating a .22 WMR pack, and I could not leave the weapon out. I needed a couple more smgs and when I saw that the weapon could be converted to use .22LR, the PMR was an obvious choice.

I appreciate your interest and wish you good luck in your editing, good to see that more people are modding this game. If you have noticed there are a few firearms in this pack that resemble weapons of higher calibers. These are replicated guns and even though they are chambered for .22LR, they look almost identical to the weapons they are based on. AKs, M16s, and Uzis could always be used as 7.62mm, 5.56mm, or 9mms, but that is up to you. Somewhere down the line I will be releasing those packs anyway.

Red you have out done your self again! Excellent work.

Thanks dude, just doing my job.
Before I began with this years ago I found myself in need of weaponry and therefore began searching for new sprites. Back then, and even now, weaponry is scarce and somewhat lacking quality and quantity. As you know, I need loads of weapons so I decided to end the problem for myself and others. This may not be my main project, but it is vital to it. I must finish it before I can truly begin.

I saw water tile.
Where i can download water tiles?

I need water in one of my mods

Hmmm been a while since I last looked but I am sure there are some around. I converted some water tiles from Clint Bellanger's work in an earlier post in this topic. They are decent enough yet in need of more similar tiles to 'blend in' with Fallout Tactics original style. So maybe not what you are after...
Here is the link again incase you wanna take a look;

I will definately be creating water tiles at some point in my project, but that may take some time. You might want to check around in the modding forum. I am sure you will find some.

RED-TEC is now in partnership with FLVDT.

Robert House and members of his development team have agreed to help me with a few of my sprites for the 'Weapon Project'. I believe that FLVDT are more than capable to deliver the same quality of resources as RED-TEC. I am creating new weapons occasionally and will continue to do so in the future at my own pace as other parts of my creation also need work.

Thanks dudes, need anything for me to work on, just ask...

Recently I have been working on the first few maps for my demo. I was in need of arctic based scenery and after looking at the original Fallout Tactics snow tiles, I decided to make my own. It's not that I don't like the original tiles, they just were not what I had in mind for the introduction to my world. At first I had thought that a few ground tiles would be simple and then I would move on to creating rocks, trees...etc... They were not as simple as I had first thought.
Every tile is hand drawn in photoshop and therefore can have issues when placed together, some will have noticable problems yet others will blend in seamlessly. Nevertheless, I will be using this pack for the creation of my first few levels and eventually will get around to making objects that fit with this environment.
Obviously users may have difficulty finding tiles that will match with these, like I said, eventually I will get on to it. I just thought I would share what I have made as I have with everything else so far and since they are important to my project, expect more of this type of scenery.
These floor tiles are comprised of two types of ground, a detailed clumpy snow and a frosted rock/dirt. There are 20 snow tiles and 20 rock tiles, as well as 240 snow to rock blending tiles. There are also 3 10x10 megatiles for easy seamless floors, one of these megatiles will not blend in at all with the other two styles, it is mearly an early prototype for another ground type yet is still usable.

Fantastic.
You guys really can deliver, I wouldn't trust many other people with my projects, call me fussy but it has to be done just right. Thank you so much for your help.
Expect a lot more to come from the Weapon Project, I am already constructing the next 4 caliber packs. After a while it starts to get a bit frantic, especially with popular ammunition like 9mm an such.
Anyway in the meantime, anyone should feel free to send any requests, if it is within my expertise. I will make anything, just don't overload me as my capacity for modding time is highly restricted but I do love to help modders out.

Thanks again Rob-Co, You dudes are a mighty ally.
