We're getting a hundred AK-12's just to make good photo reports, does photo report shenanigans happen in other militaries too? We always go somewhere to make photos to make it look like we're actually exercising or training.
Lol, no. I've read stories about Russian military corruption and I've always had a hard time beliving it because it sounds too cartoony. So what do you do instead of training? Does your CO keep the money that was supposed to be used for ammunition?

Ammunition? We barely get educated on military matters, I've been on one shooting training during all my 7 months of serving, and fired only 6 bullets from AK-72. We all have those notebooks where we're supposed to write lessons, but they're always empty. Although some of the things you heard were probably from before the war where things were worse, and with the new minister of defence Belousov some of the corruption has disappeared, some stayed. Right now, since it's winter, everyone is cleaning snow outside, reconstruction company is changing rails in cold, it's a good thing I'm slacking off in the warm HQ.

It's funny actually, Russian army is disappointing for both who don't want to serve and those who want.
So what actual military excersies do you conduct? Like this sounds like an all year summer camp for adults.

The thing is it is even worse than you think. from stealing half the fire extinguishers on a ship, making them lock up the rest in a closest only one guy has access to. To stealing headlights off their vehicles.

You ever see that footage of the Russians in the supply truck, instead of doing thier with supply run, dump everything on the side of the road and proceed to steal like 9 washing machines from an appliance store?
I don't belive I've seen that footage, no. But I did watch how they plundered stores during the start of the fullscale invasion, like something out of the 30-years war. Booty > everything else.
No plane disappeared. And the money was found. Classic whataboutism tactics, tho.
