Sean K. Reynolds interview at DAC

Bozar..?

Hmm, I was thinking a critical hit to the eyes with the Super Sledge. I always loved the super long "fallout slide" effect where bodies would glide slowly and peacefully along rock studded dirt/sand, over little bushes, to a distance of some 40 feet, until the ends of their feet finally disappeared off screen. ;)

Bloomfield Airbase: An old Airforce base, littered
with the rusting carcasses of numerous air vehicles.
It's also got not one but TWO working shuttles. Anyone
up for a trip into space?

B.O.M.B. 001: The Ballistic Orbital Missile Base and
the U.S.'s far more destructive version of Sputnik.
It's the endgame area, and won't be seen until the end
of Act 3.

It doesn't get much better than that...for me.

What about this 'Dog Town' that Sean keeps referring to? Was that an independent location or a sub-location within the places mentioned here?

I suppose you are talking about this:
Hangdog Village: More tribals, but these guys are all
about dogs: pets, food, guards, etc. The Hangdogs are
slavers and scavengers, and are often in league with
Hecate. However, they're not all bad and they just
might not try to enslave The Prisoner if he proves
he's good enough to be one of them.

Denver sounds cool...

Gawd, I could live in peace if I had never heard of Van Buren... :(

They worshipped Dogmeat there.

No Dogmeat in VB. Tho I think that was common knowledge. Harold was the only returning character, iirc.

What about this 'Dog Town' that Sean keeps referring to?

I'm guessing the hangdog village too

NO DOGMEAT!

They shoulda made him a god characther that couldnt die, you get him after you beat game.

There was a "spiritual successor" to Dogmeat in VB.

Denver sounds cool...

A NPC (non-party) you would meet there: Bombay Jack in Denver, crazed demolition expert and salvager. I think his whole claim was wired to explode, making dealing with him very, very difficult. He had the potential to level some of the skyscrapers in Denver.

Ok, I'm done for awhile.

i know this sounds silly but i wish that Bethseda would hire Black Isle devs to finish fallout 3. I dont think it would be good for them to start fresh because for one thing, when fallout 3 is released, it will be subject to comparison (of the 2 versions of fallout 3) and criticism (as always).

If they really want to do a fallout game, start with fallout 4. Fans already have a pre-conceived idea of what fallout 3 would have been (as more information is being uncovered about it) and im sure everyone just loves what the former BIS devs have done. I dont think they will be able to take that away.

I dont think Bethseda will be able to create a better fallout 3 game than what current BIS devs have done. I just cant see it. They lack experience am i right?

that is all i have to say.

I was thinking.
Since this have become the "let's give Fo3 away"-thread :)

The Fall devs. are cutting the "Death of Small Children" thing because of it's macabre viewpoint... how was it with Fo3?
Could you still do whatever the hell you wanted or was this deemed as a too controversial subject?
Just curious, since I like to have a lot of freedom in what I can do in an RPG.

If I want to play a nice guy who helps old ladies across streets, I should be able to.
If I want to steal candy from children and then give them a Super Sledge blow to the eyes, I should be able to do so. It's all roleplaying.
I allways prefer a neutral way of playing myself.

WOW, sounded like just the game I wanted, the game I wish I was playing right now, and the game that I will more than likely never get.........SHIT, that sucks
