so is there any good bonus to completing NV in hardcore?

Yeah dude I am just joking. I watched the Alchestbreach LP of Obscurum, it seems to still be highly unstable. I really can't play those Literary and phisicaly dark games because I start getting headaches.

Yup, Vanilla harcore is not that challenging, but playing with weightless ammo, immortal companions and insta limb healing stimpaks feels like uber cheating.

JESawayer's mod brings it closer to what it should've been and combined with Project Nevada it becomes a true survival experience.

Dust is too combat oriented and removes all the NPCs and quests. In my book that actually makes it more boring.

Because I dislike the setting of D&D and Fallout has always been about the story and how the player interacts with it?

You are mistaking story with premise... The story is the intricacies of the setting and the ways characters interact, not the synopsis on the back of the box.

So nothing interacts except for what interacts.... Have you actually played the game more than once? New Vegas has hundreds of ending combinations and reactivity to actions.

So, you restart and don't experience it but you still like to talk about it and judge it. Makes total sense.

The ending is the only place wherethere is story? What? So you never engaged in any of the multiple sidequests? Because the game has a lot of very involved sidequests like the entirerity of Freeside, Goodsprings, Jacobstown, The Strip with the different questlines for the Casino Families, all the stuff in McCarran, Nelson, Novac, all the companion quests... Did you actually play the game?

Uhmm no Bioware's story telling is rigid and doesn't really offer any options that aren't combat oriented to the player. Their choices are also all binary and usually on extremes.

I guess expressing a detailed opinion on something makes me an elitist. I guess I am ok with that then.

The Gun Runners and the NCR expansion campaign makes more real guns available. This is 200 yars after the war under an organized government, not 10 days later after all the guns suddenly melted.

Huh? what do you mean? Which game?

The GunRunners manufactures the guns themselves since Fallout 1... Did you pay any attention to dialogue?
