Stupid fallout experiences...

in the Sierra Army Depot, I waited with bringing Skynet with me because I wanted to raise my science skill first. when I got back a good while later, it was dead.

Once a rat critically hit me and broke my leg, damn that rat.

its better than being killed by a rat in Klamath traper town.

NOTE: that person wasn't me. no I always use FA and never charge towards a rat with 5 HP and no savegame since temple of trials...

Imagine this situation, i crawl out from some cave dragging my lifeless badly wounded broken leg, and then some guy comes along.

NPC: Dude, what happened to you leg, it looks really bad.

PC: A rat bit me.

NPC: A rat... bit you...

PC: Yeah, but it was a really really big rat, with white fur, eyes red as blood and he could talk!

NPC: Right...

embarrassing

I screwed with the Enclave on that terminal, pissing off the guy at the terminal. Little did I know that with the megamod installed there are actually consequences for that. I was...unprepared.

I went down the toilet thing in Modoc and seeing the pile of rocks blocking part of the cave I decided it would be a good idea to use dynamite to remove them... it set off a huge chain reaction of explosions and blew me up.

While defending the brahmin from wild dogs in Modoc, together with Vic and Sulik, I incidentally hit one of the brahmin while bursting my SMG into a dog.

Apparently Vic considered this as a sign to start killing off all the brahmin that we were actually supposed to protect... He was actually running after one of them (who I guess tried to escape his psycho killing frenzy) to leave no witnesses. Thank god the guy can't aim but he still managed to kill two of them while Sulik and I tried to shoot the dogs. With another brahmin bitten to death by the dogs, a total of three were lost.

I came *this* close to putting down Vic with the rest of the dogs. What an idiot :D.

That happens a lot, though, Vic or Cassidy or Sulik starting to kill the brahmin. I think I've only managed to save all ten brahmin maybe twice.

Ah, I didn't know that. This is the first time it happened to me. I hardly ever saved all Brahmin either, but usually only one of them gets killed (which would have been the case if Vic didn't start shooting them :P).

Starting my first Fallout 2 game without reading the manual. Reaching the locked door in the Temple. Not knowing how to open it. Giving up on that game for 6 months. God i wish i could relive those times.

I was playing a character specializing in medicine, well I decided to get rid of all my stims and super-stims... by using them on myself. This was before I knew about the adverse affects of the superstims... well I used them all, THEN SAVED... and proceeded to exit out into the wastes... half a day's travel and I was dead on the road... didn't figure out why untill restarted the game in another save file and then, with that character learned about what affects Super-stims have after a period of time...

Doesn't sound really convincing. If I wanted to get rid of my stimpaks, I'd simply throw them away in the Cathedral or at Mariposa, then let 'em blow up. Or just drop them on a random encounter map and leave, and well, lucky thou who findest it. And I don't see why would anyone want to do it, anyway.

First time playing Fallout 1, when I got to Shady Sands, I didn't know everyone was friendly, so I started shooting them. <____<

Similar experience here, GIaV. The first FO I played was FO2, and being the dumb kid I is, I just attacked Klint, everything in the ToT including Cameron, and as much of the village as I could before I had to flee, only to find that the game would end because I attacked my own village.

[Fallout 2] I took a cocktail of drugs involving Psycho, Buffout, and Mentats before going into the military base, and I died. I also forgot to save for at least an hour of gameplay.

In New Reno, I went to chat with little Cody (odd that there are two kids named Cody...) and had no food or drink to offer him. I did, however, have a few doses of buffout, which meant that the heroic Chosen One could (and inevitably did) say to the little chap ""Hey Cody, you want some metamphetamines? You could run down your own food...even other children!"

On my first playthrough of fallout, i didnt know i could recruit dogmeat, so when his master asked me to get rid of him, i killed him.

that stupid enough?

how bout: planting 4x tnt 2x c4 in a guy's pockets because i wanted his shiny purple(soon to be red and brown) robe to blend in at the cathedral. the problem was that i had a bunch of guys from that stupid library place following me around. long story short the whole plan would have worked had 2 of my "friends" not decided to give the retard in a purple bath robe a big hug..... the ensuing mess caused a firefight amongst the survivors whom no longer were my friends :(.

What is your worst mistake during Fallout games ?

One of them:

- I crossed Decker and went to Sheriff. He told me to prepare for the attack. I sold all my weapons to make some money and I would just leave my sub machine gun. I forgot and sold it too then I went to fight with Decker, saved the game. Didn't have any other saves. You can not escape from that area. Whole game wasted.
