It's a real shame I have to agree, but like the man said: he was willing to work and no one was around to help him. CP is super busy with MR right now, I am sure if he saw this he would of helped out. I have to say it says something about the modding community's lack of cooperation. (also MIB88 is super busy and Killap was away in RL, and I think they would have helped, as they have an interest in this mod being finished).

Me to. For the record, this was the question (I think? Contie?) that has made everyone so upset. I am not sure answering it now will make it right though:

I have one problem...

I don't know how to resolve bow torpedo room wall (has irregular shape):

possible solutions:
a) area inside green "box" will be a scenery (something similar to Vault doors),
b) cut area inside green "box" into pieces (walls), but that means unique walls (and I want to avoid this as much as possible)...

So, which solution is better from "technical" point of view? I don't know much about the Mapper that's why I'm asking.

Also, I can add more torpedos (for example 4x3 or 5x3), in this way will be more place inside, but I must know it now. I don't want to do the same thing twice ;)

Too right. For frak's sake - for a modding COMMUNITY, there's an
awful lack of co-operation outside of the teams. When that dude asked in the thread: 'Why aren't modders united' i dont think he was saying we should all team up into one big frakking happy family and get along like the bloody Waltons, i think he was refering to frak-up's like this submarine mod and why don't we just help each other out occasionally. It pisses me off.

Hey some ine continued this work!

Yeah, well i would agree, but until the above is adressed what's the point? who's to say the same shit wouldn't happen again?

Speaking of helping each other out: will someone PLEASE bitch-slap mr Wolna !!

Of course I would have helped, and yes I do believe I was away at the time, but the thing is the question was about graphics. After reading his question, I for one did not have an answer. Modding Fallout graphics is something not many people do and it was great that people like Continuum are around to bring more life into Fallout.

One must understand though that forum etiquette here at NMA is different than is found at other forums. If someone does not respond to a question, it (99.9% of the time) is because the person does not have an answer. Very few take the time to respond with a "I don't know, good luck though" message. I highly doubt modders here read the message and thought "I know the answer, but screw you I don't feel like helping." It saddens me to see this project die and especially sadden me to hear that the files were removed as well. Ending a project prematurely is understandable, but deleting all the work done, which surely took hours, is distressing. Still, what Continuum does with his work is his prerogative. I hope he sticks around though and releases more.

I dont understand how can hold the fallout engine a big frm like this?

I know next to nothing about the tilesets, but i believe it would
be compiled into a background .BMP. i dont think it would be an .FRM.

It was bad timing for CP, Killap and MIB88. Although I think MIB88 would hate and scratch my eyes out denying this: he is probably the most community focused modder on here (in terms of advice).

Us creative types do that all the time, its quite satisfying denying the world something you created and considered beautiful, in a fit of rage  (altough it could have been a matter of principle here).

Just answer to my question Dude!

I don't know the details, but from what I remember hearing, MIB was going away for a period of time (perhaps the specific amount was disclosed since I heard) and won't have access to Fallout while away. RL once again taking precedence over fun. 8-)

Way off topic: Please don't freak out. I will return to modding. However, I am currently in Kuwait, doing Navy/Army work and will be busy with that and other travel until at least next January. I had spent the last couple of months doing training and getting set up over here. The job is starting to level out some, which means I may finally be able to break out my own computer and get into modding again. However, my time to be able to do that is still gonna be extremely limited.

Back on topic: It does suck that the work is all gone. But, as was said, it was his work, and therefore his choice as to what to do with it. I wish I could have helped. But, like Killap said, I also had no advice to give on graphics. Not my realm at all. I still hope to see his work in other projects.

Finally, @ Dude101:
Why do you say such horrible things about me!? :P
