Oh, and Jebus: it's easy to let Bruges win if the pictures of the other cities are showing the least interesting places.
That's not very fair now, isn't it! I mean, I pitched the Piazza San Marco against the Jan-Van-Eyck Plein (a little square hidden somewhere in Brugge); and the Gran Canal against the Minnewaterpark...
Brugge is just way prettier, face it yo!
No really; I think it's all just a matter of taste. I didn't like most of Venice, simply because it's, according to me, way to kitch and colory.
Brugge, on the contrary, had a bit of a 'sad' look over it.
Bruges la Morte...
I think it's cool to see how a city that was obviously very rich in the middel ages kind of... Stopped evolving when they lost their economical position in NW-Europe.

I mean, you can see Bruges in an hour (half an hour will do as well
). Try doing that in Ghent or Venice...
There's a lot more to Brugge than those places swarming with Japanese.
Maybe I could show you around some day! I've led a few friends of mine around the city already.

Who knows? Perhaps there is more to me than meets the eye!
Hehe...
And shouldn't that pic from the Clockwork Orange be accompagnied by a pic of some big boobies?
@ El Prez: seems like you're going on a cultural holiday! Have fun!
