Super Mutants: An Article on what Bethesda has done with them in Fallout 4

Because a damaged synth will heal back on its own, while robots need manpower and resources to be fixed up? Because a synth can use human tools, while robots need to have theirs customized and their manipulators will never have the fidelity and precision of human fingers? It's like you're being purposefully dumb with this.
Why not a robot? Why not make mini-nano scarabs (Necron mania) to repair them while they fight? Hell they can even use them as weapons to swarm the enemy in close quarters.

And don't tell me some bullshit that they can't do that. They made teleportation and Synths,

Actually that is something to consider. Teleportation is all about taking the human body, breaking it down to its finest parts, and then essentially reassembling the body somewhere else from scratch almost. That's why teleportation can potentially be so lethal if performed incorrectly You could come back missing an entire limb or all of your insides or something.

So keeping this in mind, considering teleportation involves recreating the entire body, shouldn't there be some way to use this "rescrambling" to take out the cancer cells of someone? We know Father can teleport because he does it at the end of that one synth mission where he goes "outside for the first time". Maybe it's a stretch but why couldn't they make something using the idea of teleportation to zap the bad cells out when reforming the body? I feel like there was a movie climax involving this.

Yeah the Institute seems to be advanced in select areas, but can't do anything else...

I don't know, does this make sense?

The best part is we already have stuff like that in-game. The auto-repair units on securitron Mk.IIs.

Then you must not of read Micheal Kirkbride's C0DA(yes that's how its spelled.) Its quite possibly the most batshit insane fanfiction and headcanon(and fuck you who say otherwise it is fanfiction and headcanon) I have ever read and coming from me who made an audiobook of Dragonborn's fanfiction, Fallout Wars, that is no easy feat to make me say that or make me ponder for days over what the fuck I just read.

It sounds... epic.

I want to listen to this audio book you made. Please enlighten me. On a scale of 1 to My Immortal, how bad of a fanfiction is it?

And no, I haven't read Kirkbride's C0DA. I know a looooooot of people on the Elder Scrolls Lore reddit that reference it though. Like quite literally all the time.

Yeah... apparently it's some weird shit that makes no sense...

What's it even about?
I can't describe it in detail because I would lose my grasp on reality so here is the plot summary on the tes wiki: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/C0DA

To be honest, Dragonborns fanfiction deserves to be in its own category, here is the fanfic and the audiobook

It's weird yes, but it has a good message that the lore of Elder Scrolls is mutable and that people have to make up their own minds.

True but I worry about is people take it literally judging from the average idiot on reddit. Sometime things are not to be taken literally.

Meanwhile this entire thread is making me want to go get Marcus as a partner in Fallout 2 and Lily as a partner in New Vegas and just play the whole game with those 2. I miss well-written Super Mutants. :puppy-dog:
