Supermutants.de closed

Okay guys. Ashmo, yeah, we do have standards here. It is now known that we don't care for...ah..."numerical shorthand", so I don't think we need to rub it in any further. Ex-SMT guys, we do have some standards, and this is a forum, so please do try to write legibly. It makes it far easier for people to research it later and also makes it legible all around.

There, settled, don't worry about it any further and it should become too much of a problem. :)

Remind me to use smileys the next time I make a sarcastic remark.

...

I have been thinking - maybe we could make a German version of NMA (akin to Polish NMA) and staff it with former Supermutants.de mods (sans Glowbewohner, of course). Imagine what a major step it would be for the Fallout community in general and NMA specifically if three large fan groups - German, Polish and English speaking one - were integrated into a single heterogenous community under the NMA banner. What do you think, people?

I'm all for it, if it worked for the Polish site fine, it should form the German fans as well. This would certainly save them the trouble of finding a server and a fan base.

I promise to help the Teutonic team to the extent of my capabilities in such a task..

We swapped handles for a brief while

Whoa. In which part of Germany is it customary to finish sentences with three exclamation marks?
Haar. (Not hair.)

Are Supermutants allowed?

Yeah, the site could be called No Supermutants Allowed. Or, better yet, Supermutante Nicht Erlaubt. Which makes even more sense when you consider that Glowbewohner called himself a supermutant and he would be disallowed from participating in the new community for obvious reasons. Claw, you're a genius!

Still flaming against glowbewohner? Is there nothing better to do? ;-)

@smt-rebuild-team
I´m looking forward to see your result in reactivating a german fallout fansite - if there´s something i can do - just send a pm or icq message. (php or something like that... preparing content is also welcome)

greetz from berlin, chewie

I was just annoyed that I missed all the fun as usual. :D

I think the "proper" German wording would be "Für Supermutanten Verboten" although it seems that the real equivalent isn't a literal translation but "Wir müssen draußen bleiben" (We have to stay out) correlating with "no dogs allowed" signs.

A sign with a crossed out supermutant silhouette would make a good logo.

NMA used to have a crossed-out Harry as a logo, did it not?

But later came Fallout 2 and muties suddenly became PC... And besides, Marcus friggin' pwns! :D

Yeah, so he is selling the site. With the content. Of whom i have many of the original files. It's mine. Also he is selling the download directory. There are patches, mods, programs, everything for fallout, everything for free - and he's making profit with it.

He even sells the user accounts. With (crackable) passwords, all the eMails. He sells us, the community. He sells Fallout.

I wonder if it's newsworthy.

Meh. Screw him and we'll just help you start de.nma-fallout.com ;)

Glowbewohner sells Supermutants.de on eBay

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8733357879

the dumbfuck is acting illegally. the content which he sells within the domains is copyright and passwords by all users are private.

and nice to see: even here he emphasizes that the german fallout-community would die out, if the domains are not sold.
what a neat cockroach. :D
Whoa. With this act Glowbewohner has cemented his position as supervillain of the Fallout community, alongside such distinguished figures as Herve Caen, Chuck Cuevas and Feargus What's-his-name. The best thing is, dumbass probably doesn't even understand why.

If he's making money off the Fallout franchise, won't Herve Will-Suck-Dick-For-Money Caen sue him?

I hope he does... "there is always a bigger fish"

1. Herve doesn't have money to sue anybody.

2. Even if Herve did have the money to sue somebody, he is too much of an inept idiot to use the Internet and find Glowbewohner's eBay auction.

Come to think of it, I'll post this at the front page :)
