That one myth were getting shot in the shoulder or the leg isn't life threatening it just hurts a lot. Bah, theres ain't no organs there just blood veins n' muscles what is the worsts that could happen!?! But the best shit ever is Fuddlore. The stupid shit Fudds come up with is hilarious.

 

Yeah, people often mention that firing guns particularly indoors doesn't really work like it does in the movies. Particularly when you see them doing it inside cars. Without any kind of ear protection.

However, it does make me wonder when I see images from WW2, which had a few very intense battles inside of cities, like Stalingrad. I mean, people had no protection at all in that time so I imagine that they must have really suffered a hell of issues. If I remember correctly, one of the most common injuries during WW2, was injuries to the vision. When ever people had shoots fired at them, it wasn't rare that all kinds of stuff would fly around, debriss from nearby hits would hit the face, get inside the eyes and hurt people.

 

I thought Black Hawk Down is the one that is even more realistic. The injuries are more gruesome etc. Still US military propaganda though.

A point with regard to the video- that is a Brownells AR15 proto upper on a FA lower. It has no deflector and I shoot left handed. My hearing protection is acting as the shell deflector.

I bought the Ar15 proto and AR10 as rifles.
I bought 3x 601 style lowers. I bought a 601 upper and built it on one of the lowers saving $200.
The 605 was made similarly but with a PSA midlength dissipator barrel. The muzzle deviChe is not pinned. That one also has an old aluminum buttstock.

The 601 super shorty is my own creation- made from brownells and PSA parts.

 

I have no preference for racks- just something that won’t scratch it.

That really cool that you are getting a sharps. The quigly models are nice but it’s really hard to find ammo in any caliber besides 45/70. (45-90, 45-110 have to be hand loaded or special ordered and even the cases are not common)

 

Is it an original? If not, you can easily fire it. If it’s an original, you can fire it with BP loads or modern smokeless powder loaded to cowboy specs. I do that all the time in my BP pistols (smokeless in cartridges rather than loose BP and percussion caps)

 

If you want to Take some pix of the markings when you get it and I can verify what it is able to handle as far as shooting it.

Unfortunately it’s not a robocop gun. A robocop beretta would cost upwards of $50,000 if one was available for sale.

My new gun is a SilencerCo Maxim9. I waited 10 months for that approval to own it.

 

Nice, seen the one on demo ranch and it made me wish I as a Canadian could have a suppressor, but gun control......
