The worst of the worst - Evolution in gaming.

It's not a *most* multiplayer titles list, it's a 37th echelon shooters + source engine titles list.
You have never booted up Team Fortress 2
Source engine title from 2000x? Too old to be a reflection of a current situation.

Dodger.

Did you even read the list or are you the one who likes to dodge things? Also Team Fortress 2 gets update constantly and has a pretty active community so it does reflect the current situation.

The current sitation is P2P multiplayer in general, no dedicated servers allowed. And TF2 was updating since 2007, when dedicated servers were a thing, this is a point you don't want to get because you mentioned TF2 before and this little detail kinda ruins that argument, dodger.

There is still very clearly lots of dedicated servers, you are talking out of your ass. Also you might want to learn a new word because no one is dodging anything I am directly arguing your point.

Bland open world games .......
Well bland games in general but I really hate when a fame is open world and it has no real reason to be. Obviously games like New Vegas, Skyrim, or GTA must be open world but I question why the first assassin's creed or fallout 4 need to be spooky open world.

0wing, what? Steam isn't responsible of holding the servers anyway in most of those hypothetical cases, the devs/studios are.

Damn, I'm too upbeat to rage properly. Will do later.

For now; games trying to be movies/TV shows. Just no. Games are games, be as creative as you bloody want, but you never are "too cool" for a videogame. Make something solid first before anything else.

A list of old games, with a few exceptions, really. And most of them are very specific titles plus source engine games that are inflating the list.

Someone mentioned that Steam made matchmaking easier, so here it goes.

Because people seem to buy games based on how big the map is so thats why fallout 4 needed to be open world

You are just talking out your ass at this point and being obtuse on propouse, not gonna bother you further.

The whole of fallout 4 would have been s much better experience as a straight up corridor shooter. And yes, such is the stupidity of the average modern gamer.

You seem to be missing the forets for the trees. Other than Dark Souls 1, which has horible matchmaking in every platform, I've never said or thought "Man, fuck Steam, I can't play XX game right becouse of it", if not the contrary. FPS, MOBA and overall competitive games have their own rules, CoD has never had dedicated servers and it's not Steam's fault.

Everything being an open world right now sure is dumb. It has mutated Game design into ways to cram busy work to fool people into thinking they are getting good value for their money. Zelda Breath of the Wild is probably the only modern Open World game that is even doing interesting or cohesive experiences and it isn't even running on up to date technology.

Would of been better although if they had admitted it was a shooter fools like me would't have brought the game

This forest can burn itself.
I can say about pretty much any game since it requiers Steam or other schlock to be launched.

So what do you suggest otherwise? You are fighting Auschwitz's doorstep, not the whole thing. Steam thus Valve host themselves only their games, you know which. And all have dedicated/private servers and P2P options, the latter for competitive play. All the rest is portforwarding that doesn't require anything from Steam.

No, really. Do so. You are complaining to the postman about what what was in your package, but alright.
Suggest that every single MP game (not *JUST* a pack of indie and Valve titles from pre-2010) must obey the rule of having dedicated servers? That's easy. Suggest the Steam to be an optional thing instead of Malware? That's also quite obvious.

Must I assume that you get your games from the lush forest's fresh dew drops condensed? And that you live in a magic fantasy land with no drm software?
And for *just*, you mean every single one? You have GOG for such freedom, I guess.

It's not amazing, but out of both clients and distributiob methods, it's one of the best.
