Things we learned from Fallout 3

88. It is possible to withsand a 10mm bullet to the head, or maybe 5 10mm bullets to the head or more. Anything less will just piss off the target.

Lol good one,

90. As a matter of fact it won't even cause them to take a moment to shake it off.

91. Children are immune to monstrous swings at the head with a baseball bat and can withstand a limited nuclear explosion. In fact, it makes them run faster than Carl Lewis.

92. The mesmetron can only be used in four people in the whole world. Use in any other person will go OMFG HEAD EXPLOSION IS SO FUNNEY.

Oh .. Oh, OH! I know what we did learned as well from Fallout 3.

That you can kill your whole Vault on level 1 only wearing your Vault Pajama :P

Well many things 'learned' have already been mentioned. In addition:

95. I also learned that "fun" is directly proportional to how badly your intelligence is insulted (more stupid = more fun is apparently the consensus nowadays).

96. I learned that .32 cal pistol ammo does 4 times more damage when inserted into a rifle rather than a pistol.

97. I learned that miniguns are actually pretty weak and inaccurate. (Don't let their looks/design fool you)

98. I learned that shotguns which have a drum magazine and a shorter barrel length from the load point to the barrel tip than sawed off shotguns are actually more accurate than the sawed off shotguns despite that the opposite should be the case.

99. I learned that you can store hundreds (if not thousands) of lbs of gear without any sort of backpack (I assume it's all stuffed in your underwear/socks/under your hat/helmet/under your ballsack/eyelids etc.

100. I learned that you can take a break from real time any time you want and pause real time and take the time to sort out your health/weapon/med scenario then once you are ready resume real time a new man.

101. I learned that you can stab through metal/composite armor with a knife.

102. I learned that many people will still treat you like scum despite you just had a dialog with them which you thought went well (apparently it didn't or they were stoned while you were talking and immediately forgot who you are).

I learned ALOT of things...

Errr what? I'm really confused about this one.

And that pajama has 101 number on the back of it, just like V13's suits had, but V13 had it because it was a special vault, where V101 turns out to be not so special at all.

101. I learned it's not that hard to count.
102. I learned that Bethesda likes 'wack a mole'
103. I learned that the BOS will lend a portable nuclear bomb launcher to a stranger.

I learned that not numbering the lessons really fracks up the thread and is incredibly lazy.
Believe me I'm not incredibly lazy. I just didn't know if some of mine were repeats since it's been a few days since I first read the thread through so I didn't want number possible repeats. But hey, I'll number them if you want.

The combat/terrible shotgun drum clip attaches at a shorter distance from the tip of the barrel than the sawed offs load point so they should be less accurate than the sawed offs because the shot is traveling through a shorter barrel & shorter barrel = gun is less accurate. Kinda hard for me to explain well.

107. Little wooden fences never fall, no matter how hard you try, while a lead pipe can easily dismember an adult human being.

ok, this is getting annoying

106. Electronics still work 200 years after a nuclear holocausts (nuclear warheads emit a Electro Magnetic Pulse that fries electronics).

now every time I see robots and computers I chuckle.

108. Ammonition has no weight.

(But I like this in the game!) 8-)

Personally, I hated this. 1000+ rounds of 5.56 ammo should weigh a fair amount. In Fallout/Fallout 2 you couldn't go lugging around a fuckton of ammo (except with the car in FO2) and consequently you had to shoot SMART instead of wasteful spray-and-pray bullshit. It also made fully-automatic ammoguzzlers like the Minigun and Gatling Laser (or Vindicator or Bozar in FO2) that much more of a tradeoff.

110. Weapons degrade faster then posters after a nuclear holocaust still standing after 200 years painted on the wall.

( I mean, why did no one got the idea to make the weapons out of those posters? Maybe a sniper made out of it would finally stop to become worthless after 30 shots ...)
