Troika's PA RPG shots!!

Meh, it's his house.
I wish my house could be cleaned by a few mouse strokes and button clicked though :P

It's not a halberd. It's a musket with a cleaving bayonet (look at the concept art again).

Something I've been wondering for a while: where was it said that Troika lost the licencing match to Bethesda?

Those screenshots look pretty, though :)

Hasn't been said anywhere, but we know because we've got sources.. 8)

GOOD DAMN! - this renderman ... damn... loks VERY NICE!

i think that system requirements will be BIG...

maybe someone have url to Troika ?

I would love to see this developed & will hope that production resumes at a better time. I'm torn between the Original X-Com & Fallout as my favorite game of all time. I believe that each subsequent release of a Fallout title has diminished in depth & at this point don't really mind if I never see another.

What I would like to see is a game set in a PA universe with it's own flavor & logic. Give me that sense of discovery & thrill of fear. Blow me away with a vision of a crumbling world barely surviving in the ashes of a once great society. Give me a difficult set of choices where the PC does make a difference & not all roads lead to the same end & most of all, stroke my sense of wonder. These things I pray for but really dare not hope.

I have no dislike for Bethesda but have little faith in ever really seeing a release of something I would conscider a Fallout Game. Here is hoping I'm wrong.

What the punk rock mommy said, even if i did get lots of fun from Fallout2, with all its shortcomings.

We have been Slashdotted , but that is good in this case, the game needs exposure to help out in getting a publisher.

You're absolutely right.. i could have taken the time to go scrolling down the concepts before opening my mouth. :)

So Troika will be releasing this soon then?

No...?

They are looking for someone that wants to pick it up...

Seems to be hard these days to find a publisher for a CRPG. Vivendi might pick it up. Atari could also be a good choice although they tend to rush out releases. But honestly I don't care if it has a few bugs at the very beginning (nothing patches can't fix) as long as it does get a reliable publisher. And with BG3 and NWN3 coming up Atari might decide to pick it up.

My favourite choice would be Activision. They seem to be really supportive now and also allow mature content in Bloodlines (I think they would have allowed the brothel in ToEE).

Aghh, sorry to ruin the optimism, but when there’s a green circle around characters it usually implies that you are able to control more then one character at the same time (tactics anyone?).

But if anyone could do that right, Troika could.

And controling multiple characthers isnt nessacarily bad, just depends on the setting.

Indeed, the setting, and the realisation,
Tactics was kinda cultural shock, when
playing it with a friend, awaiting
another Fallout...

But there is one big problem, with controlling
more then one character, who shoots
you in the back???
:P

Yep! If no friend shoots you in the back, it can't be Fallout. God! Why hasn't anyone demanded that peculiar feature to Bethesda?

Great, another troll.........

Yeah murky, I agree.

Cactics was buggy as hell, but it wasnt the worst game ever.

Just the worst FO game ever at the time it came out.

It was a piss poor FO game, especily when FO3 was wanted, not a Crappy spinoff that basterdised the FO universe and setting.

So? A PA Silent Storm thing made by Troika could be lots of fun, just see the combat in ToEE. You realize that`s another setting right, not Fallout?
