They make that seem like a bad thing, of course it's mainstream media so you can't rely on them. After all they did say Hillary would win...oh wait no they were wrong. I'm sure they're celebrating the life of a brutal dictator though.

Oh he isn't the only one to blame for that. Congress has become European teir when it comes to not getting shit done.

My favorite is when people act like Obama was this Marxist Nazi Muslim giving all the money to the Mexicans when he was essentially George W. Bush 3rd and 4th terms.

What I am learning from this past election and it's aftermath is that the USA is full of idiots on both sides... Really, people seem so cool when it's their side doing shit but when it is the other side it's all outrage (again on both sides).

I am not american so I don't know how much of the general population are idiots (with luck only the minority), but I am curious to see what the Trump's presidency will be. I doubt the USA will be destroyed or start WW3 like some people say.

Well I usually stay away from political discussions when I don't know much about it and specially if it is not about my country, so this will probably be my last post on this threat. I guess I was just bored when I decided to post here.

On a totally different note that Zuckerberg picture doesn't show any "heavily armed security" at all.

No, I took away that some Hillary supporters and supporting media are idiots like I said in my post .
And like I said in my post too I hope idiots are the minority over there, since I have no idea because I am not american and never visited the good ol' USA.
I am assuming that like with everything else the idiots are the minority but make a lot of noise.

Don't get me wrong, I am neither pro Trump or pro Hillary. I don't know enough about those two besides what the news here passed during the election and it was usually "Trump says this..." and "Hillary says that..." :shrug:I don't have enough information to form a good opinion about this election. I did saw both "sides" idiots, because I guess idiots make more noise around the net or become memes easier . Also I don't remember many USA presidents that affected my personal problems, so I don't even have the motivation to research more about them, and if the pics you show around here are anything to go about, researching would probably only take me to places like those in the pics anyway, so it would be a waste of time .

And that was also why I said "On a totally different note" before that Zuckerberg picture mention. ;-)

I'm not so rustled by this election as I am by the 2nd amendment encroachment by California legislation. AR's above the .22 caliber are getting banned as of 2017, and beginning in 2018 I need to register my AR (that I just bought in light of this legislation) with the DOJ. On top of that, Californian's handedly passed prop 63 which means I need to get another card for purchasing ammunition (and renew it every 4 years).

I'll never understand why there's so much overt focus on AR weapons when 60%+ of gun related crime is committed with a stolen handgun. We've got more gun crime than Texas, and yet we're the state with lots of gun control and regulation.

Don't forget that it was Jill Stein who called for the recount, Hillary's campaign were actively avoiding it beforehand in order to keep the peace. It's only now that a recount is going to happen anyway that they are just going along with it.

And besides, calling for a recount isn't the same thing as not respecting the results, it's simply challenging whether the results are accurate(Which, while I'm sure they are, it's still important to quell any doubts about it). So long as by the time the recounting's done Hillary respects Trump's presidency, I don't see a problem.

The worst kind of discussion happen when you have people that believe the AR-15 is an 'assault rifle' ... I understand when some people have objections to weapons in general, hey everyone has a right to his opinion, but at least get your facts straight. The differences between assault rifles, combat rifles and the like isn't that difficult to get. It's mainly about the magazine size, fire selector and caliber.

It's a semi-auto variant of an assault rifle (the Colt AR-15 variants, that is. The actual ArmaLite AR-15 is a full-blown assault rifle). That's not the worst kind of misunderstanding to have.

It is when people want to bann the weapon based SOLELY on this misunderstanding, and no matter how often you explain to them that it is a semi-automatic rifle and not an assault rifle, they regardaless identify it as an assault rifle. I had this discussion with someone on youtube, who was hellbend on the fact that the AR-15 is an assault rifle. Of course, I am talking about the civilian version here.

Just like the retards trying to call a SKS a AR-15. People who know nothing about firearms should not be making legislation regarding their use.

Yeah ... the concepts of battle rifles is completely over their head. I mean I do even agree that the definitions can be sometimes pretty unclear and all that, the G3 or FN FAL with a fire selector, can be used like assault rifles, despite the powerfull amunition, fare more powerfull compared to what most assault rifles use. But I would still classify them as battle rifles rather than as assault rifles. The interesting part is, that you actually can get a civilian version of the FN FAL in Germany, quite expensive, but possible. A pretty awesome rifle in my opinion.

Oh noes, people are so stupid to not know that about 20 mm cartridge length makes a military rifle a COMPLETELY different thing! Fucking idiots!
