If it is the former, well, look for a better scan online. Or if you have money buy a physical copy, those are wonderful to read.
i am reading physical.
The hectic and chaotic placement of panels serves to emphasize the speed and brutality of combat.
2 things:

1. the placement of panels is chaotic and nonsensical at all times not just in action scenes.
2. speed lines and actually good choreography could do the same thing but so much better.

and backgrounds are very important. knowing where things are in a scene is really important. this guy's panel placement and choreography is the manga equivalent of incomprehensible shaky cam.

it is slowly improving though.

Wesley crusher wasn't that annoying.

Ensign ro was an underrated character and was wildly underused.

Steven moffet did a good job as show runner

Series 11 of doctor who isn't bad because "lol women and their PC bullshit" but rather because of a MAN, Chris chibnall

One piece has good reason for being as long as it is with every story arc having massive impact on the story and world usually in both past and present.

DS9 > TNG

He wasn't. It's kind of blatant he was tacked on as the kind of vicarious wish-fulfillment scenario for kids. I always felt like the blowback was from petty neckbeards who were jealous that he wasn't as deserving as THEY of course were.
Granted he is kind of a twerp. But the contempt some have for him him says more about them IMO.

DS9 > TNG
I'll give you one:
DS9 is a Western.

Lonely fort serves as hub for various diverse frontier types. Mayor. Sheriff. Slimy Bartender who can get you what you want (for a price!). Tailor. Doctor. Saloon/Cat House. Wacky church. Giant hole attracts a rush of fortune-seekers.

He wasn't really annoying but the character is just shit, still people oversell him and make out him out to be way worse then he really was.

Star Trek Discovery sucks and I find Michael Burnahm character extremely annoying. (apparently criticizing Discovery is very unpopular)

Lol it's really, really not. Not that it doesn't have its qualities but holy shit almost all of its characters have no business serving in Starfleet.

And yet somehow they keep giving the show more seasons. It's paying for itself, at least, even on CBS All access.

This is not directly related, but there is a demand, a popular demand, same with Star Wars. We can complain all we want, being the 'old guard' weaned on the older stuff, but there's enough new fans that we've been financially replaced, and for companies, that's all that matters: staying in the green. I bet Episode IX makes 1 bil, too.

Me? I've left Star Wars before the reboot and Star Trek after VOY and ENT. I'm content with Fanon stuff I want a dosage. Bless you, Starfleet Museum.

Well season 2 was a legitimate improvement however minor. Maybe discovery is just following tradition and having the first couple season be kinda shit.

At this rate I might be interested in Season...five. Sheliak War or fucking bust.

I'm just tired of fucking prequels and supervillains in star trek tbh. And fuck my ass 4/5 of the shows in development are set in the 22nd century rather than the 24th or even the 25th.

Star Trek is basically finished. Federation wins. Time travel becomes huge after the mid millennium.

There's some snippets in DIS about the Federation dying in the 3000s but honestly I don't trust the writers to cook up anything palatable. I'm just done with Star Trek and Star Wars.
