Money cannot buy happiness. But it sure as fuck can solve a lot of the problems causing unhappiness.
There is a point where you actually become less happy with more money. But generally, yeah, I'd rather have too much money than not enough.
I remember someone saying that happiness is a retrospection and I tend to agree but there are moments that I felt happy in them as they happened. It's rare as fuck, maybe it's just being excited about something or gratified that things turned out the way you hoped, but usually as long as nothing else comes along to ruin your day/week shortly after, you probably think back on that time as being happy.
Or maybe I think too much and therefore I am a sad sack.

Problem with money is that it doesn't really solve any fundamental issues with humankind. Their corruption, stupidity, wickedness and so forth. For example, the most common cause for unnatural death for humans are other humans.
The best solution is probably to remove the human from equation altogether. Which would happen with total automation. Since when everything is automated you have zero humans in your way.
I don't have the most exact numbers, but in general the total global AI investments are in multiple hundreds of billions already. Clearly showing that many-a rich folk agree with what I wrote. That to go forth, we must deal with what holds us back - the humans, those pesky meatbags, our curse for many thousands of years.
Yet even would we throw away over a trillion in AI investments, there really aren't any 100% guarantees of actual success. That's the issue with money.

I’m more concerned by him retweeting shit that says the Jews are responsible for the downfall of western civilization. He definitely got 4chan-brained at some point. It supposedly all started when one of his kids went trans. I don’t disagree with his concern but maybe he should accept that his poor parenting is what leads to that sort of thing. I guess that’s my real unpopular opinion.

He is autistic, my friend. There's this video where he's sitting at a table in a fancy restaurant, accompanied by gorgeous women, and he shows them this fork and spoon balancing trick. When Tesla started out and was doing really bad financially, he worked during the night hours and slept under his desk at the factory. He's weird, but nothing short of a visionary genius.
