UP and RP updates

Everything implemented is in changelogs. Everything not done is in open github issues.
 
Something that was cut from the original game that should be easy enough to re add is the the ability to attack Horrigan during the desert encounter.
 
I've used the exe file to install RPU and I was expecting custom install options but nothing happened, it just installed everything.
If I remember correctly, RP came with custom install options so I'm asking if this behavior is normal.

Anyway, great work, I also like FO2 tweaks!

EDIT: Do I need to add FO2tweaks to the patchlist in ddraw.ini?

3. After installation, see mods/rpu.ini for various settings that can be configured.
You can disable some features in rpu.ini or move corresponding .dat file out of "mods" folder (e.g. enhanced worldmap).

Another question, I'm not sure where I saw that, but I'm looking for the inventory filters, does it ship with RPU?

The ability to suicide, you mean?

Because that one is date-specific. At that date, unless you meta like mudafuka (like running straight to Navarro right out off Temple), there's no way you have ability to resist his attack.

has the crashing been fixed yet? the original patch works just fine but I can't play this mod without my game crashing or freezing. I just want to play fo2 with this mod but I just can't!
 
funny idea, what would be the work around if the PC wins (pretty much due to cheats/exploids)? should horrigan still have like a final scripted attack that insta kill the whole party?
 
Does RPU come with the Inventory Filters and the Crafting tool?
I can't see them and I thought I read they should be there.
 
I have a suggestion based on something that always bugged me in this game.
In New Reno, some characters will prevent you from looking into the containers near them and threaten you if you do so, and even attack if you don't listen.
I always wondered why this behavior wasn't more universal, why most characters will let you steal their precious items and say nothing while standing nearby.
This would make "sneak" a more useful skill than it is right now.
I'm aware it's probably a hell of a job to implement that everywhere...
 
Is there any reason why Cassidy and Sulik won't wear the Power Armor in their inventory?

Edit: For some reason, I had to ask them to remove their Brotherhood armor and leave Power Armor in their inventory only in order to work.
It's like they consider the Brotherhood Armor better than the Power Armor.
 
If you're playing with some gameplay mods like F2WR, they changed the armor stats so for NPCs power armors have lower "rating" than others.
 
What crash are you talking about?

Everytime I've tried to complete a playthrough with the updated restoration project I'm eventually always met with random crashes, and my game not responding whilst in combat. The only thing I could find wrong with my saves was an error regarding a file called "sfallgv.sav" it would state in F12se "sfallgv.sav has loaded with errors" or something to that effect. When I use the original restoration project (2.3.3) this error doesn't appear
