Both Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt were the Trump of their times. Especially Roosevelt, the establishment was scared shitless of him.
 
Just because the establishment was scared shitless of Roosevelt, does not mean he is Trump. That is a silly thing to say, and his policies were very Un trump like, given he wanted to establish a national health service in 1912.
Reagen's policies were more trumpish though, I can see there. The establishment wasn't particularly bother with Reagen.
 
Reagan did a pretty good job if we take into account the fact that he wasn't independent of big business like Trump is.

As for Roosevelt, policies depend on historical context, but their backgrounds, manners and relations to the ruling elites of their times are very similar.
 
Yes I can see what you mean there, but he wasn't as rich and he certainly didn't have a loan of a million dollars, I have done extensive research on Roosevelt.
Not in manner at all, Trump is a buffoon, mocking the disabled etc, Roosevelt was respectful and polite.
I also agree with relations to the ruling elite, but I'm pretty sure Trump wouldn't have been a trust buster.

I do. It's astonishing to me that everyone blamed the Lib-Dems for the failures of the coalition, when they were the driving force holding the Tories back. The UK needs the Lib Dems at the moment. A Tory government lead by Cameron or Boris will kill us, and a Labour government lead by Corbyn will sink us.

As for the US Elections, #FeelTheJohnson

If we can get him from 11% up to 15%, we can get him on televised debates. He won't become president, but he can send a message. Especially for all the disillusioned voters who don't want to pick between a snake and a jester.

you pretty much hit the nail on the head there about the tories and labour
some say ukip will collapse after the referendum, since they are a one issue proxy party for euro sceptics, so once the issue is settled they have nothing to talk about, hence the Lib dems are the only alternative.
others say ukip will stay as a political force on other issues, and even make an SNP style comback. time will tell.
greens are just corbyn lite.

I agree there, it would be nice to see a libertarian on the debates.
Also, Bernie might run independent and he could also star on the debates.
That would be something to see, Hillary clinton, Donald trump, gary johnson and bernie sanders in a town hall. I think its the same with Bernie, he wants to send a message.

if I was in America i would not vote republican or democrat, probably for gary johnson.
A snake and a jester is a very accurate portrayal of clinton and trump actually.

With the US elections I personally like to say its like picking a shit sandwich or a shit bagel; who fucking cares, you'll be eating shit either way.

So Bernie isnt gonna be the democratic nominee, it'll be Hillary VS Trump. I would rather vote for trump, because she is more of a snake than an actual snake, and lies constantly.
How do you know when Hillary is lying? When she opens her mouth.
