Yeah, the funny thing is that when I got home and saw it on IRC, I checked my mail and had gotten an email from Pete Hines, but it was about something else, but it was enough to convince me for a bit! Go figure on that coincidence!

I believed it and when i found out it was a hoax i became unhappy that its not true :( ...damn them!

...I almost died after reading and believing the first post. If you guys kept this going and I still believed it I probably would have died.

The scary thing is...if it would really come true I might prefer being dead.

Yeah, I figured it out pretty quickly. It just seemed to be an announcement of everything outrageous that could happen to the franchise. That, and it was just lacking that professional hype phrases that always come with such announcements. Not that I'd blame anybody for falling for it, its just too good to be true.

It DID irritate me. I figured the original source might have mislabelled Fallout 2 "Fallout 3", but then it wouldn't make sense that "Fallout 3" is also under development.
 
Holy crap don't do that to me. I'm only 22 but that damn near gave me a heart condition. I did think it was weird that the sequel to FO3 would be the old FO3, it was just too damn good until I got to the Obsidian part. I think I should go get an EKG now.
