I can't say what they intended to do with the combat system, but remember that the engine came finished from Jefferson, and this may simply be a cary-over from that. I REALLY can't say, though.

Man, talk about salt on the wounds.

Makes me sad, but then again that engine was a fucking nightmare to work with. Shame to see all the hard work we put into that game go down Herve's toilet, the shitbag. Well, back to the therapist... thanks NMA! :P
 
Puuk's getting flashbacks to the trenches again!

Sorry for sending you back to therapist, but we couldn't let something like this go to waste. The people demand to know, and if we give in and don't show it <s>the terrorists</s>Herve Caen has already won!

PS: if you have the energy, Puuk; any clue as to what KoC said? Were the floating damages intended for the final game?
 
it's hard to find any info about this herve and what role he played in the whole fallout thing...

google hardly gives me any information about him, and if, then only very unimportant stuff...

is there some kind of herve-thread or sth.?
 
Well, now that the sadness passed a little...

Besides the floating thingie I must also say I dislike the way the main menu looked. I think it was a bad idea to make it animated 3D.
Plus the "Play with a friend" thing... yuh... OK, maybe they HAD to add multiplayer, but name it like that? Come on. Kinda gay.
