What do you expect from Honest Hearts?

dunno. I think the engine looks a bit ugly. but that is more because of the design.

It is much better to imagine Fallout 4 with this

But Unreal Technologies never release developers kits, so it owuld be no moods in exchange for betetr graphics, I would prefer Gamebryo if thats the trade off.

He is stated to have been a Mormon Missionary before becoming Caesar's first Legate.
Yea but following a man who claims to be a son of a Roman God seems to be a clear break with the faith.

Caesar didn't believed to eb the son of MArs until after he started forming the Legion, and Graham was a founding member, its abvious he knew Caesar wasn't the son of Mars.

So ? It would just mean a bit less "pink power armor mods". But not less quality mods.

If anything Unreal has one of the strongest mod communities. I played countless mods based on the Unreal technology. Not to mention the Unreal engine is a very steady one. Their net code in particular. Unreal was usually made for 30 people on a server. Some mods I am playing managed to push that up to 50. And even though they pushed the Unreal 2.5 engine to its limits it works without many issues. Even with high pings you can still have decent games etc.

Sure. Bethesda games have tons of created content. But is it really always that usefull ? Also. Unreal games have if I remember right a "developer kit" or something like that which can be used to create content. As the old Unreal games had a lot of user created costum maps for example which also contained objects the players/modders created by them self.

That's what it's using, Unreal engine 3. The team that made Infinite apparently modified Unreal 3 to add new lighting models, more complex AI interaction, support for large exterior environments, and some other stuff.

Edit: I wouldn't mind fewer mods, 90% of the mods are either nudity mods or uber-weapons and uber-armor.

well yeah I forgot about that ! But as said. The design of Bioschock infinite looks a bit "strange" for my taste. But that is probably really just aesthetics.

Certainly does look strange, damn Ken Levine turning what should have been a standalone game into a template that can be applied to anything; BioShock Infinite is my F3 to some of the older guys.

You can't judge Bioshock infinite on a ten minute preview. :?

Not setting Infinite in Rapture seems like a good move to me, we'll just have to wait and see how good the game actually is.

Not saying that it won't be an excellent, well written game; I just wanted BioShock to be a stand-alone deal. Look, I love the setting of BioShock, Rapture, the lore and backstory about as much as I do the Enclave. I looked out of every window in the city and took in every detail, those Big Daddies were just stealing the 'true' face of BioShock - Rapture - in my opinion.

BioShock 2 was disappointing, making me play as one of the stupid things, making Ryan look like a complete fool for bringing in the ultimate anthesis into his city so early in it's creation and just introduced plot-holes. Besides, what are Big Daddies and Little Sisters? Criminals turned into unfeeling metal monsters and the abducted victims of genetic experimentation, bound by a completely artificially induced 'love'. Truely something worth exploring.

Then Ken Levine comes out and says, "Remember Rapture? Yeah well we're going to make this better!" Feels like a - completely personal - punch in my gut. Worse than making a shitty sequel, Rapture's creator turning it into a stamp: you got your plasmids, your fantastical setting and exploration of historical themes and boom you got a BioShock.

Again, purely personal, but to me Infinite is a betrayal, Rapture will be left behind. I know for a fact that this game is going under 'I' for Infinite.

EDIT: I really want to play BioShock now.

I'd rather the next Fallout, assuming there'll be one, be made with an engine created specificaly for it. Really, that's the best option, since the devs won't have to cut down their ideas to size so much just to fit to the engine's lack of flexibility in one matter or another. They could adjust it to their idea of how the game should be, not the other way.

Fallout 4 will probably use this same engine as TES 5.
Beth will decide that, so fallout 4 will be The elder scrolls in post nuclear setting.

One can at least judge the visuals though. I can not say anything either about the story or game play. Though I am pretty sure the game will be as linear like Bioshock (in the layout of the world) and the game play quite similar to the past games as well.

I really hope Survival plays a huge part in HH, much like PE and repair played in Dead Money.

Although this will upset A LOT of players.

I expected Joshua Graham to be this menacing, ruthless son of a gun after hearing so much about him from Chief Hanlon, NCR's officers, and the Legion themselves. That's the sole reason I bought the dlc. So when I first met him...it's an awkward moment indeed. It's like meeting Kenshin Himura while expecting Battosai.

And I thought I'm gonna go to New Canaan.
