It was a sarcastic joke, graphical roguelikes tend to be looked down upon by the more 'hardcore' fans of the subgenre for whatever reason.
A couple of clues: the name of the game is in the screenshot, blurred out, and it was later given a 16-bit facelift, at which time it looked like this: As a bonus game inspired by DC's latest entry: Can you have too much boarding of bicycles in games?
I didn't really set a precedent for awaiting my turn. It's probably a good idea to keep this somewhat layered so the hard ones don't block things up.
I still don't know what it is (I don't have a great knowledge of action and puzzle games), but that is one of the most convoluted interfaces I've ever seen in my life.
