What game was this?

Now HERE's a good one.

Front Mission 2, love the series but haven't played any but the first, forth, and Gun Hazard, can't say that I'm thrilled about a US company making a TPS spin-off in lieu of a sequel.

From the same game I posted the end gif from earlier and it's for the NES.

Galaxy 5000!

Played that at a friend's house many many many years ago.

And close, that was FM3 (First one to be released in the US afaik).

The only other one I've played was the first one on the SNES (was in freakin' japanese), and it remains pretty true to that. FFT style grid movement and ability selection, before it zooms in and animates the attack.

Since nobody posted anything, I'm gonna hijack the opportunity.

Yep, great game, I rented it many a times back in the day.

Not sure why I said 2 when I was thinking 3... Yeah I've played quite a bit of the first (there's a pretty good translation patch out there) and almost beaten 4 (those last simulator missions are a pain to unlock) and I think that they've done a good job improving the series. One of these days I'll play 3 but I really loathe that Square hasn't released them all in the US (don't think 2 or 5 have been yet, 1 has been for the DS).

We've got an open spot and don't forget that Dopemine Cleric and The Idiot both have images waiting to be answered.

Looks like Nightmare Creatures?

Nice, that's correct.
Sweet. Played the PS1 demo over and over again way back when. Never tried the full game though.

My turn I suppose?

EDIT: lol, we posted almost simultaneously. BTW, it's not Dandy Dungeon is it?

Yep, mine was Space Rogue. Phil's is Front Mission 3.

edit: goddamn I was looking at the previous page when I posted this, ignore this.

edit2: maximaz's is Zero Tolerance. I never played it, but I did look for it some months ago. Is it any good?

Well, back in the day, I was just blown away by the fact that I was playing an FPS on Genesis. The game was also pretty good in terms of atmosphere and such but I can't recommend playing it today. Imagine playing a16-bit FPS with the Sega Genesis controller (D-pad only). Still, brings back some good memories.

Bruce Lee. Played it a lot.

WTF? that game is Bruce Lee? I wouldn't have guessed in a million years.

The Idiot, your game is Faery Tale Adventure.

I think we got them all so far.

I played Maxi's game before.

I believe it's Killing Time 1 or 2.

I played it while waiting for my parents to buy furniture from a store that also sold computers and computer games and thus let people play through entire games that were on sale.

It was like an arcade with recliners and the strangely alluring scent of leather.

I played this game back on the NES a long time ago with no idea who made it or what it was about.

I wanted to smash it with a hammer because it was boring and stupid compared to my collection of Megaman games.
