What OLD games do you still play ?

Metal Gear Solid 3 and not enough ram have kept me from playing it, but no matter. Maybe I'll play it someday, but not for a while, I'm not ready for another SDRAM hunt.

Using an Amiga emulator I still play:

Starflight 1/2
Chase HQ
MegaTraveller 2
Supremacy

On the PC:

Pretty much any Microprose game... now there was a great games company.

Transport Tycoon
Sim City 3000
Privateer and Rightous Fire
Civilization 1/2
Master of Orion 1/2
Doom 1/2 (using JDoom)
Alpha Centauri

I still have Space Rouge in the original box for the C64 too.

Cheers,

Eric

recently, i've been playing mech warrior 4 a lot, which isn't an old game in itself, but when i finish, i plan on going back to playing starsiege, mechwarrior 3, and possibly mech2: mercs.

Nothing beats good ol DOOM for mindless violence.

Hard day? Play Doom!

EU2 and HOI are still on top of my 'start' list as well. Can't wait for HOI2!

Monkey Island I & II
Grim Fandango (pretty good Adventure)
Half-Life (w/ High Definition Model Pack)
Age of Empires on LAN against my brother
Command & Conquer I
Diablo II LOD
Jagged Alliance 2
Operation Flashpoint (is it old yet?)
Gothic (you just have to LOVE that game)
and Fallout, of course

Old classics are the best. Here are some games off the top of my head I often play and/or have recently played (both old and not so old):

Fallout/Fallout 2 (No kidding)
Life Force (NES)
Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Final Fantasy 7 and 8 (PSX)
Metroid series (mostly Super Metroid for SNES)
Shadowrun (SNES)
Doom (hell yeah)
Arcanum
Quake (SP), Q3A (MP)
...
To be continued... In general I have periods when I play lots and lots of NES and SNES. Both old classics I know I like and other ones I've never tried before.

When it comes to new games, right now I'm playing HL2 and Bloodlines, before that it was Doom 3. I usually don't play many new games, but I mean, two of those are giants, and the other is Troika. :) Oh, but that wasn't the topic.

I've been replaying the good old N64 Platformers, Mario, Banjo & Kazooie. Also I've got a NES emulator for the psx, played a fair bit of mario, river city ransom, megaman... That despite the fact that i didn't play those games in my childhood, i was pretty much a master system kid.
Also Diablo 2 and Nethack on the pc.

-All of Luca$art$ good-old-days adventures (Monkey Island series, Indiana Jones series, Day of the tentacle, Zack McKraken etc),
-Civilization II
-Sierra's "Space Quest" series, "Gabriel Knight" series, and the "Quest for Glory" series
-TIE Fighter (greatest flight sim ever!)
-Wing Commander series (yet more greatest flight sims ever!)
-Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall (buggy as heck, but still addictive and brings back good memories...)
-Sim City 3000

You play OFP ? And no, it isnt old yet. Though OFP 2 is coming out semi soon............

Fallout 1 & 2
Half-Life
Quake
Heroes of Might and Magic III
Broken Sword II the Smokeing Mirror
Age of Empires II Conguerors
Doom I

And few SNES games:
Super Mario Bros. 3
Skyblazer

Well, I don't play that much games anymore, to be honest, but when I do play, I always go for "older" games because:
[1] I can still play those on my "old" rig
[2] I just don't like them new games very much (too much form, too little content)

So I play:
Arcanum (my favourite)
Fallout 2
Fallout
Age of Empires 2 (+ The Conquerors Expansion)
Fallout Tactics
Commandos 2
Unreal (the only "modern" FPS I actually like, the atmosphere is just... right)

Hmmm, that's about it, really.

You guys are gonna freak

I still play Mortal Kombat II for Sega Saturn

Reply if you freaked.
[no bad words]

here`s my all time fav`s list
F1&2
Baldurs Gate 1&2
Doom 1&2 with Doomsday engine
Ufo Defense & Tftd with vdmsound
Transport Tycoon
Privateer (1)
Battle Isle 1-3
Schleichfahrt

Dink Smallwood (modder's forever! Six years counting as a matter of fact and the community is still vibrant)

I remember killing ducks in that game.. They would run around for a while with their head chopped off.

There are two SNES games that I play pretty often. Secret of Mana, which has to be one of the best console action-RPG's ever, and Super Punch Out, simply gold.
