What's going to make headlines in 2006 or How the fuck did I get so old?

Jesus I’m gonna sound really, really young but…this was literally made a month after I was born, to the day

I knew it. A fucking nursery school. You kids played Fallout 3 like I did Super Mario Bros on the NES.

Bury me Jim. I'm done.

:rip:

I started to feel old when people started to claim games i played when i was in my early adult years were their childhood.

You know, Oblivion is not the only game in existence, there are other games to play. :smug:

Another thing that makes me feel old is when i realize 2010 was 10 years ago. I don't like being able to actually remember a whole decade.

Also, necro'd thread hijacked to talk about how old everyone is getting.

I remember playing Morrowind on the original Xbox when it came out. At the time my computer was a piece of shit that only played antiquated games like Fallout 2. Gross.

NECROMANCY is evil.

Might be the game I had the most fun with, honestly.
That’s how I feel about a certain recent cowboy game that drives Graves up a wall.

I also really love Total War Shogun 2 and Ultimate General Civil War.

I don't quite feel old yet. Can still sprint and climb trees just fine. Stimcell bed is still active.

Can't say I'm into rdr, but I understand the appeal.

Something I’m becoming acutely aware of, for reasons I won’t share here but you know.

Goad damgit now I have joined in on the dark arts.

Nothing makes you feel older than wishing gas was a cheap $1.35 a gallon.

When you blew into your NES cartridge or inserted it just enough to have it go all the way in when you pushed down.

You remembering getting the second issue of Nintendo Power in the mail.

Remembering grocers like Smittys or RENTING games from a video store.

I felt old talking to a friend saying how I remember 9/11.

He was 3 when it happened.

I had just started Kindergarten. I was vaguely aware of it, didn't care. Went outside and rode my bike.

I was 7, I didn't care much and we're so far removed from the event that I'm reminded of it by that one issue of Spider-man.

I remember that Robert De Niro said (while watching the building during the event), that he had to see it on the television to believe it was real. I remember watching the live news before the second impact.

*I think that you should all watch 'The Lone Gunmen' [the X-files spin-off], episode #1.
