Now Rex Tillerson as his nominee for secretary of State.

Yeah, it's kind of weird... me and my dad are all on about how America is ruled by businessmen and... then... Trump goes and appoints pretty much all businessmen in his cabinet, and that doesn't appear like an elite oligarchy? Not the same with Putin, cause he keeps a tight rein with his business buddies.

Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer, obviously.
This is somewhat interesting. That's quite a lot of debt and one could imagine that it would create some conflict of interest.

Mhmmm.

Meet Rex Tillerson, Trump’s pick for Secretary of State.

No problem. No problem at all. I mean, hey when ever has an Oil Company ever done something wrong? Wait ...

This is actually really good... for me at least. The fact that he's friends with Putin means Donald Trump is serious with making better relations with Russia.

This just in: Trump appoints successful businessmen to govern over our economy!

How do you know, that he's not going to make decisions that are only good for 'his' kind of business, rather than the nation as whole?

That's the point, when people said they want LESS(!) business men, Wall-Street and Goldman Sachs in politics. BUt it doesn't seem like Trump is actually doing anything different compared to no clue Bush or even Obama ...

In regards to his business, he said he was leaving that be with his son during his presidency. Don't see how anyone could draw up an idea of Trump using the presidency as a profit.

Yeah, I mean why should we ever expect people to break their words. But would you bet your life on it? I doubt it. So why with the presidency?
By the way, this still doesn't mean that it might not happen let us say, accidantly. You can not seperate your life in such a manner, that's literaly impossible, particularly when you're own family is so closely tied to the business. Do you think they will never discuss something at a dinner table? And suddenly, his family members have access to informations before anyone else.
I mean we already saw that some of his family members already ARE part of some meetings ... and I feel that is just the tip of the ice berg, who knows what the next 4 years might bring. The point isn't what ever if I or anyone else trusts Trump. The point is, that we often have laws in place to prevent such conflicts of interest for a reason. Beacuse the past has simply shown, that no matter how well the 'intentions' are, people simply are not so perfect that they will act all the time like saints or something.

I feel like all of trump's administration will be the equivalent of America shooting itself in the foot to treat the gout.

I still can't believe it that there might be soon a President of the United States that is capable of starting a real war over a Twitter post ...
