What's Trump up to now?

Besides the KKK has 'lynched' quite a lot of people, without anyone around, I mean com a group of people killing 2 or 3 guys in the middle of the night ... that's not 'public' execution. Maybe you forgot what an actual public execution/event looks like?
And the cross burnings are for destroying evidence?
A group of hooded figures where you can't see the their faces
Who all wear the same hoods and garbs.
I am pretty sure those people, welcome the FBI or authorities or any minority walking in to their 'public' event. Or what is more likely, they would flee the scene faster than cockroaches when you turn on the light, if the FBI showed up on their little 'public' meeting.
Burning. A. Cross. At. Night.
It is like comparing a bombing to an assassination.

When people say mob justice, I doubt the government is involved. I'm pretty sure the fire was meant to attract a crowd.

Maybe I shouldn't have said condoned but groups like the KKK had enough support and fear to continue their activities. It wasn't like they were unkillable and only stopped by a silver bullet.
Not with your definition probably,
So define lynching in a meaningful way and doesn't encapsulate most murders.
but that still doesn't change the fact that black people and minorities are killed.
No one can disagree with you if all you are saying manslaughter and murder happens which happens anywhere and to any people. In that case, why is it a Black exclusive problem? Unless you mean something more than that then just outright say it instead of just saying "Murder is bad." or "People die when they get killed.". And why not just say "black people and minorities are murdered"? Not all killings are murders and not all killings are unjustified. Why remove the distinction? Most likely you think a certain percentage of killings are justified and a certain percentage is unjustified. I'm assuming the problem that you have is the murders. So instead of being weaselly about it to avoid the mine field that is the discussion of justification which is super touchy, maybe be more direct on your guesstimate. Also, explicitly mentioning Blacks means you think there is a racial component to this unless you think all murders of Black people are racially motivated and can be lumped together in the same problem set.
- generalization.
Why are you acting like me disagreeing with you means that I don't understand the word? Do you think someone who thinks a specific plate is small instead of big doesn't understand what the word big is? Or a person who dislike a dish doesn't understand the word delicious? Or a person who disagrees with communism simply do not understand it? Do you genuinely believe that I don't understand what the word generalization because I don't believe that a particular generalization isn't completely unjustified? Is saying that Black people having dark skin an unjustified generalization? Is saying an albino having pale skin an unjustified generalization? Then you say that those are defining characteristics. OK, PeTA is not basically eco-terrorist group? I don't think everyone holding up the signs or using the hashtag are doing the rioting in fact it is a minority, a very violent minority. However whenever this violent minority is brought up, the first thing done is making excuses for them. http://time.com/3605606/ferguson-in-defense-of-rioting/

CaptnVergil, dude, you're to dense for my taste, let us just return to what this topic was actually about I am going to ignore you from now on - shouldn't be to hard anyway - consider it a win or that I give up or what ever I don't care anymore at this point since you're CONSTANTLY and REPEATEDLY missing the point, either on purpose or because you're just not getting it. And I am really sick and tired of repeating my self over and over again ...

Anyway. America.

Yes, please return to discuss Trump's latest adventures, because I'm seriously not in the mood to sift through the last few pages and splitvat this crap. We're all racist, homophobic, ableist, sexist, transphobic fucktards anyway, so how about we leave it at that?

Seriously, leave it at that.

You could make a thread about donuts here, and the over/under on the same twats turning it into a 'sins of the west/america/whitey' thread is page 3, I reckon.

Spoken like a true caricature.

The US doesn't invade countries, they "fix" them, even when they end up wlrse than before the US got there... man you guys drink your own kool aid so much is kinda scary. Complete brainwash. Did manifest destiny become popular again? You can't wait to see how Trump starts more conflict? I guess the US has never had to feel any of the wars they start in the flesh so to you it's just some kewl pew pew pews.

US military is a paper tiger anyway. They'll probably lose again liked they did in vietname, iraq, afghanistan and etc to a bunch of ski mask wearing guys with Ak-47's wearing adidas track suits.

US military would fight a long bloody war in N. Korea (WW2 japan like society) and couldn't dream of invading or even threatening Iran (for obvious geographical, military power and Russian alliance reasons)

Yeah but fuck self righteous americunts who think the world owes them something and forget half the worlds problems are at their own fault.

Also Iran and Turkey did have western influence, however it was never a colony or protectorate and a fairly old country. It may also be due to the fact both have always been the two major powers in the region for the last 500-600 years (longer so for Iran) and had a significant amount of strong competent leadership with major "western" socio-political and military reforms when necessary.

Saying something over and over again, doesn't make it a stronger argument than last time.
I don't care anymore at this point since you're CONSTANTLY and REPEATEDLY missing the point
If you are so sure about that, then just be direct about it. You keep saying that the KKK were hooded like it means they had just as much to hide in the modern day.
You keep saying things like this:
No one said that what we experience today would be as bad like in the deepest corner of the american south of the 1950s.
While ignoring that by saying that lynching still happens, it implies society hasn't change much in that regard.
please return to discuss Trump's latest adventures
Trump is a symptom, not the cause.
CaptnVergil
I honestly thought that you were better than this. Do you really have no problem taking this route?

Uhhm on Dec 8 1941 the US declared war on Germany the Germans did not declare war on the US until Dec 11.
Well that is completely wrong. Germany declared war on the US on Dec 11. the US followed with their declaration later that day. Hitler solved a slight problem the US was having about getting into the European war.

Yeah, here is the text from the war declaration document:
Seventy-Seventh Congress of the United States of America; At the First Session Begun and held at the City of Washington, on Friday, the third day of January, 1941.

JOINT RESOLUTION Declaring That a State of War Exists Between The Government of Germany and the Government and the People of the United States and Making Provisions To Prosecute The Same

Whereas the Government of Germany has formally declared war against the Government and the people of the United States of America: Therefore be it Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the state of war between the United States and the Government of Germany which has thus been thrust upon the United States is hereby formally declared; and the President is hereby authorized and directed to employ the entire naval and military forces of the United States and the resources of the Government to carry on war against the Government of Germany; and, to bring the conflict to a successful termination, all of the resources of the country are hereby pledged by the Congress of the United States.

(Signed) Sam Rayburn, Speaker of the House of Representatives
(Signed) H. A. Wallace, Vice President of the United States and President of the Senate
Approved December 11, 1941 3:05 PM E.S.T.
(Signed) Franklin D. Roosevelt

Step 1: Fire a a few dozen Tomahawk missiles at an airforce base despite knowing that the installed russian air defense weapons could take those expensive toys down easily.
Step 2: Looks like Raytheon got a new fat order for new Tomahawk missiles! Stocks rise!
And guess who apparently owns stock in Raytheon...
http://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trumps-stock-portfolio-2015-7?IR=T

Meh, Raytheon is a good stock. It's in the S&P500 so anyone with an index or mutual fund owns it too. You'd be a dumb investor if you didn't own Raytheon, I wouldn't read nefarious machinations into that. Bernie Sanders probably owns Raytheon too.

US military would fight a long bloody war in N. Korea (WW2 japan like society)
Don't be silly. Japanese would disembowel themselves before giving up. Norks surrender, then refuse repatriation. What does that tell you? The only similarity is that N. Korea is still living in the 50s. Read up on the Korean War, took the UN a few months to roll up the norks, and would've stayed that way if not for Chicom intervention and MacArthur's hubris.

He doesn't, actually. At least not in 2014.

Sanders did get campaign contributions from Raytheon, though, more than Trump did.
Those funds are made up of the best performing industry leaders in all market sectors. Like Raytheon. He owns a fund that has Raytheon in it.
Campaign contributions? Now if that's not a quid pro quo I don't know what is. Fuckin' politics. Vermont socialist hippy bankrolled by Raytheon, good stuff.

I don't see anyone claiming US has any politicians with any real integrity.

He also has stock in banks and oil companies.
Also, about the airstrike:
https://www.rt.com/news/383858-syria-us-strike-inefficient/
23 of 59 cruise missiles hit. What happened to the other 36?
Well...

At least it was only missiles...
