What's Trump up to now?

Yeah, you guys go and justify that military spending with that crumbling infrastucture, failing school system and job market where people earn to much to die, but not enough to actually live.
Are you guys so blinded, that you don't see the US politic is the biggest threat to peace right now? Not Putin, not China. It's the USA. Hell, what if there might really happen to be a war between North Korea and the US, and someone might use nuclear weapons? Even if it's unlikely, but will you still babble something about defence and if we don't do it nation XYZ will?

You're doing that thing again where you put words in other people's mouths, stake out the high moral ground and conflate the ass-end of a country with the whole.

The best part is when he ended his post with an accusation of other peoples babbling. you can't make this up.

Cyber wars perhaps. Not war in the traditional sense, though. Trump's action in Syria is a continuation of Obama's original action. Was there a thread on NMA called "What's Obama up to now" after he took action in Syria? Was there a thread like that when Russia decided to lay it's dick out on the table and start bombing U.S. backed rebel groups? Are we at war with Russia 3-4 years later? No.

Hell, what if there might really happen to be a war between North Korea and the US

The NK m.o. is to launch a few nerf rockets into the ocean and demand foreign aid and relief. Nothing new.

Yup, life is soooooooooo terrible in the states, that is why we have such a big population and people just love immigrating here. Hell, I don't know why the Mexicans and other peoples keep wanting to come here since it is such a shitty place.

@Crni Vuk

Well, maybe if Putin would just tow the fucking line, and let the U.S. lead, then we might not have so many problems. Maybe if the PRC was just content on being our cool number 2, everything would be much smoother? But noooooo, Putin wants to make Russia great again. The CPC wants to make China great again.

Yes, live is so awesome inside the US. It's truly incredible ...
Wow, what a comprehensive, nuanced take that shows the spectrum of an enormous, complicated country. No diversity, no multifacets, just monolithic Detroit from coast to coast. You obviously have nothing but superficial, partisan charged knowledge of this place you speak of with such authority. What's the closest you've ever been to America, a Denny's? This shows about as much brains as conflating Moldova with the rest of Europe as a whole.

Hold up, what? Did you read the story where Putin threatened military action against America should it get involved in Syria? Or how China is getting temperamental over North Korea? Oh, I forgot about NK. Them too.
You could argue that the Dalai Lama is the bigger threat to world peace, since he stands in the way of a healthy relationship with China. Or Assad, or Putin, or anybody. America? Nah. The US is holding the world together. If you think Putin and Jinping aren't sharpening their carving knives and licking their chops waiting for America to falter you are wrong.

Compare the number of interventions and bombing campaigns carried out by the US/Nato and compare that with Russia since 1991.

Seriously ... do I always have to say Russia and China are shit, before I can say something about the US?

Can Russia and China be a threat? Absolutely. But who has the military with the largest budged acting on a global scale right now? And with the determination to use it. Right now, the United States of America has breached more international violations than China and Russia together, at the very least since 2001.

I guess everyone has to rationalize his actions somehow ... it's like you're arguing here that you're the only one that has some kind of 'right' to bomb others. I mean if you violate international laws, it's for the greate good I assume.

Detroit sucks - we know. But the rest of the U.S. isn't Detroit.

Riots on behalf of an individual who had been shot by a Police officer after he had physically assaulted the officer. Not to mention he had strong-armed a mini mart clerk minutes prior and the officer was investigating an individual matching his description.

Used a picture of Rio. Then again, it wouldn't be fair if I made a video of a similar stripe called "Worst places to live in Germany" and completely misrepresented the collective country.

-19k per year
-Lives in the second most expensive housing market in the U.S.
- Shops organic - despite being on food stamps.

There's something deeply wrong with this woman's priorities. Am I supposed to feel sympathy for someone that clearly wants to have their cake and eat it as well?

Certain parts yeah. We don't have military vehicles rolling around most areas of the U.S.

Yeah, continue to rationalise. It makes you look better than what you are and continue to ignore the issues. Next you're probably telling me how awesome America is, but it's not so awesome that you don't have to vote Trump ... paradox? Isn't it ... everything is so awesome, that you need ... Trump. I don't get it, is your nation now facing huge problems or not? If everything was so nice and dandy, there would be no reason for populism.

I didn't vote for either candidate because I didn't like their demeanor on past issues and their flip-flip nature. With that said, Trump's ascension is owed to effective campaigning and pandering to very desperate people in fringe parts of the U.S.

Nobody denies the share of problems in the U.S., but you're being about as ignorant as the guys who think Malmo Sweden is a Muslim hell-hole.

@DarkCorp 's point was that despite the country's flaws, it's a hell of a lot better than most countries - hence the constant migration.

People should always have a choice not to support food practices they disagree with.

For example, I exclusively buy free range meat. Even if I was poor I'd refuse to eat non free-range because I take ethical issues with it. IDK much about organic farming, but maybe she has a similar rationale behind it.

She's free to do so. However, we shouldn't be putting individuals like this on a pedestal for living above their means and then complaining about it afterwards.

I live in the same area she lives in and it's tough below certain income brackets, but you need to make sacrifices/decisions based on your current situation.

reason for populism

Seriously?

Pandering is what politics IS. The issue here is DEGREES. I don't mind some social programs but the shit Bernie spews out of his mouth, fuck no.

We are the THIRD most populous nation on the PLANET, beaten only by India and China. Unlike India and China, most of our population boom is from IMMIGRATION, you know, people wanting to come HERE. Being an immigrant from China who entered the right fucking way, I know.

We got Trump because Bernie had to fucking cheat and literally pull some Leninist bullshit rhetoric which brought extremist leftists out of the woodwork. Trump was like 'Goddamn, this asshole will do and say ANYTHING, to win, I might as well too'.

Also, America in general was sick and tired of the fucking snowflakes, SJWs and fucking cucks. America was also sick and tired of listening to and seeing, leftist hypocrisy, fear mongering, and drama, much like your post above. Cherry pick some isolated examples, ISOLATED in your own words, like VIOLENT riots, while trying to sneak some outright retarded examples, like the teen on food stamps, or equating a police force with one that has access to mortars, land mines, helicopter gunships, AC 130s, one armored vehicle=TANKS, and hope people buy into the bullshit without looking to close.

Trump was never an ideal decision, based on anger rather than reason, I admit, but it is not because America sucks, at least, the way you paint it to be.

What? Did you happen to ignore history?

Did you miss Putins, Make Russia Great Again/Cry about the downfall of the SU speech? You know, the one where he actually says it sucks that Russia has LESS ability to screw over its neighbors. Did you also not notice the Taiwan straits crisis or the man made island/military base building China has pulled/done? Of course it is unlikely now that they would push us too far because we are too strong. Also, hopefully, our government wouldn't be fucking stupid enough to let the PRC and Russia keep building up to the point to where they can fuck our shit up. Why, because by the time they CAN fuck our shit up, by default, it is too fucking late to do a goddamn thing.

Again history, the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Chinese, etc , etc, they didn't fall because of outside forces, at least at first. It was stupid fucking assholes and petty infighting that weakened the country from within, or lack of a capable leader, that caused these empires to fall. If the U.S does the same, lets Russia or the other countries do whatever the fuck they want, the same would happen to us too. Fuck playing fair.

Also, look at Europe. Without a unifying hegemon, you guys murdered the fucking shit out of each other, trying to get to that position, while colonizing the world, ending with TWO WORLD WARS. Yea, no hegemon but a bunch of smaller powers fighting over the world is such a good fucking idea.

Man, for someone who lives in a country with a small population, its defense backed up heavily by the U.S, therefore having to spend the bare minimum for defense, you act like adopting euro socialism is as easy as flipping a light switch. I would NEVER anti-NATO it but what would have happened if Trump actually decided to take a gigantic dump on NATO? Guess what, you now have to put money towards a capable, euro force. Say hello to massive cuts in all your free shit.

@BigGuyCIA

I bitch and moan about food deserts because I am not smart enough or too lazy to figure out a way to get to the goddamn grocery store that's a mile or two away. Or how about, I can't pay mah bills but check out these sweet ass rims that are on my car, that was used to go to this kickass concert. I am poor and should swallow my fucking pride and make the most of my money instead of spending it buying high priced shit that actually will get me LESS FOOD overall. I am from a low socio economic situation but I love dating assholes or follow religion blindly and not use birth control.

If I was poor I'd eat what I was able to get, free range or not.

I've heard stories of people cutting off their cable just so they can afford to eat organic. Even if you don't got a pot to piss in, you can still make do eating organic if you buck down on your essentials first.

Hey, paying more to get less is a choice. Like that teen however, it is a choice so she really doesn't get to complain about not getting enough when she could get enough by slightly lowering her standards.
