Whats up with the fallout 4 hate

I can't wait for the influx of Bethesdrones once Nuka World shows up. They'll probably be saying how Nuka World saves Fallout 4 and makes it better than everything under the Sun despite proof to the contrary. Though this Slayerite seems to have missed the memo to show up only after the Vault Workshop DLC comes out.

It'll be fun to watch to say the least.

Assuming they don't all hate it.

DLC can't save any game.
We can have good DLC.

If the mechanics don't work however, there's no way to address it in the game.
At least F3 played properly, so much so that DLC was good for it.
With the right writing, F3 could have been a good game.

But F4 on the other hand has pretty bad mechanics.
No matter how good the DLC is, it'll still suffer from a lot of the issues that base game has.
And that's not something Bethesda would fix.

Old description (still on Steam, though):
"Take a trip to Nuka-World, a vast amusement park now a lawless city of Raiders. Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and the Galactic Zone. Lead lethal gangs of Raiders and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders, weapons, creatures, and more. Enjoy the ride."

Note how it's missing "Lead lethal gangs of Raiders and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will."

From 4chan's "Fallout general" thread. This will be amusing if it does turn out to be true.

Not only that but they also seem to have altered the Vault-Tec Workshop description and removed a feature from it.
I shamelessly stole this from a bethesda.net post:
For anyone who hasn't noticed, the Vault-Tec Workshop description has been edited - specifically the line "Even change and customize the look of your inhabitants with new barbershops and cosmetic surgery stations" has been removed:

Does this mean it was yet another thing Bugthesda couldn't deliver and now pretends it never happened? Because that was a very appealing point of this DLC.
Some people were already saying that changing how NPCs look like in their settlements was the big feature they wanted from that DLC.

Why am I not suprised? Oh, BTW, unlike Fap Harbor, Vault Tec Workshop is a technical mess. New items dares to vanish or lose animations for example, the tiles aren't willing to connect to each other. And I never found any new customization options for settlers either but must search better...

Well, nothing about it is. Just a big waste of space and time.

Wow that's the absolute best they could come up with? Sounds completely uninspired. I wonder how many stolen quest mods are going to be shamefully used?
At the very least they can rip off He warriors and we can have baseball mime raiders.
