That's why most people use ice. 4 cubes of ice is usually enough to soften the soda for the more sensitive folks, while at the same time keeping the drink cool and refreshing. It's easy to take the technology used for making ice cubes for granted. It's crazy to think that it was only a hundred years ago that they were being produced for the first time!
