Why all the hate for BoS?

O.o

Wow. Got it.

Oh, that's not the only reason why that game blows chunks. There's two big reasons I can think of.

#1 - Remember the Nuka Cola ads we often see in the main games? Those were changed to Bawls Guarana ads, in-game advertising for an awful energy drink.
#2 - It was an Action-RPG like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, which had its fair share of issues besides being a new genre spin-off of the Baldur's Gate series meant to cash in on how popular Diablo II and similar ARPGs were back then. Fallout doing the same thing was NOT the best of moves for Interplay.

For reference.

Brotherhood of Steel is a masterpiece compared to 4 through. I mean, at least there's more that four dialogue choices and at least you have a level cap.

One could argue that Fallout 4 had entertaining gameplay though (I wouldn't but some would), what does PoS offer? Shitty story, shitty gameplay and, a misunderstanding of the source material that isn't just stupid but insulting as well.
Fuck PoS, fuck it completely.

You know what... I'd never played it, but .. after the torture that was Fallout 4 I now want to 'experience' P.O.S... can't have a true opinion unless I've actually done it.

You should make another blog where you play through PoS using only the default weapon.

Why do I get the feeling that POS is the only fallout game both Todd and Emil has played?

@Izak

To be fair, those reviews you posted are mostly written by casuals who have no knowledge of the gaming industry whatsoever. Can't really judge them.

No debating that they're filthy casuals but there are a couple of big names on that list regardless, some people enjoyed PoS (even though those people almost certainly never played a Fallout game before).
