EDIT: besides that: 12 € on Brazil
Nah, they got a really lucky win against sucky Russia last weekend. I'm going for the Netherlands, chauvinism and all that.

PS: Damn, Klinsmann sucks at creating a decent squad.
PPS: That picture's from 1988.

*snickers* The Netherlands! Hah!

They'd be lucky if they survived their group with Argentina, Serbia and Ivory Coast...

15€ on Argentina. With Riquelme, Messi, Aimar and such they've got a great team this year.
10€ on Brazil also, though.

Not entirely. Argentina lost to Croatia this weekend, mainly due to a lack of a stable defense. Serbia is just another defensive team that's easily the weakest of the group, and Ivory Coast sucked huge donkey balls during the Africa cup. As did every team there. I see better football each weekend with the Eredivisie. The only thing they're good at is taking penalties.

Who needs a defense when you can just score more goals than the other side?
Also, everybody loses to Croatia, because half their national team is club contracted to Club Brugge.

I wouldn't underestimate them - that's what the Belgian team did, with known results.

Nobody cares about the Africa Cup.

That's only because PSV has Timmy Simons.
He lifts up the level of football in that entire crappy nation of yours.

And considering the evilness of the Dutchies, that's something they'll be doing a lot.

How Cruijffiaans. Surprisingly, though, Argentina only scored twice, while they let 3 goals slip by their defense. Which was exactly what they did against England before as well. All their creative impulses and attacks came from Lionel Messi, who is probably one of the best players to have graced the pitch the past years, but there wasn't that much more to the team than him, from what I saw.

Yeah, but the Belgian team really sucks currently. They did jack shit in the qualification for the World Cup, finishing behind Spain, Serbia and even Bosnia.
Although I must hand it to Serbia that their defense was impeccable, and they have ex-PSVer Kezman to score the goals.

It's a good way to see the form of the teams, specifically Cote d'Ivoire. And they sucked.

PSV played much better in the previous year than it did this year. Plus, PSV's matches are godawful to watch.
But I wasn't talking about PSV's matches. Hell, NAC has played a lot of better matches than Cote d'Ivoire did.

At least we evil Dutchies will be doing something at the World Cup.

World Cup-

Expect a rematch between German and Brazil for the title.
Considering the fact that Germany is one of the weakest contenders, losing 4-1 to Italy past week, that's really, really doubtful. Although they did get into the weakest group of all.

1 million euros on Brazil, 15 on Argentina.

Ivory Coast had a great CAN, i saw all their games, don't underestimate them. The other African teams this time suck donkey's balls though.

Hehehehe... man i only see some of these. I not seen the Brazil X Russia... But like what you talk, the Russia is very though, the Brazil had a very nice luck.

I saw most of them too, they were really dissappointing. Barely any creativity at all, although they were probably the best for the place of runner-up. They were ridiculously boring and uncreative to watch. Basically, they had an average defense, lots of poor passing, barely any creativity. Most of the danger came from long-range shots by Drogba. They were, more or less, the least-bad team. Except for Egypt.

Winning almost everything except the games against the Netherlands isn't really barely, Romania was also in the group amd they won their playoffs easily.

PS: Barca - Chelsea is up to a slow start, but I'm glad Ajax - Internaziole is going to be played on a later date so I don't have to follow that as well. ;)

Brasil. Jogo Bonito and all that noise.

I expect the US to at least get to the quarterfinals. Just like last time. We are making up ground on the rest of the world. World Cup finalists in 2010.
