I'm actually going to be playing it through for the second time myself. I understand why people often consider it the best in the series.

Yasss, finished Silent Hill 3 as well. I gotta say that it is rough to get through with its story. Clearly there were production issues behind its translation and voice acting cause dialogue in it is just awful. Atmosphere and art design are fucking great tho'.

Honestly I feel like it would have been a safer bet for Konami to have remade the first game instead. As it's more straight forward than the second and "less likely" to be screwed up in terms of it's story and symbolism. For instance, you ever wonder why there's two Pyramid Heads at the end of SH2? It's James' guilt for having killed another human (while this was never officially stated it makes sense).

Honestly the art style and colors used, initially made me think it was some show on Adult Swim (look at Harvey Birdman as an example). Then I looked into it more.

Still haven't fully gotten "into" Lateralus yet, fucking album takes forever; mostly skipped 10K, now jumping into Fear; so far has nice vibe, lots of throwbackyness - maybe that helps.

There is lots of auto-speak, starting from a linear section to show off their budget with the demons running around, Tevinter, etc.

It will be more of an action game, which I'm not inherently against if what they have shown was any good but it seemed by the numbers.

I don't like gulls they show extreme intelligence, even problem-solving intelligence. Especially the big ones. We bred eight originally, but when she came in she took over the pride and killed all but two of the others. That one... when she looks at you, you can see she's working things out. That's why we have to feed them like this. She had them all attacking the fences when the feeders came.

Are they having management issues, have they scrapped and restarted a few times? CDPR's glass door reviews gave insight into what was happening behind the scenes with CP2077. I wonder if something similar is happening here.

eventually I went outside, grabbed the bird (it's okay, as long as you put it in their box/nest/shelter; just do not bring inside or to vet) put it into the box, from which it stubbornly escaped as soon as I went back inside - so, it sat in the rain again

it called for the parents, but they're off for the night + its pouring down, and then... little by little, it went towards the box - then snuck inside! It's been inside since, it should be dry, sheltered from wind, and hopfully the parents will swing by tomorrow with grubs.
It *can* fly, it's just not fully clicked yet, so hopefully tomorrow.
