  • I think Fallout 1 and 2 are overrated.
  • I like the character of Three Dog.
  • I think the Batman Arkham game series is shit.
  • I think Just Cause is mediocre
  • I thought Rome Total War 2 was crap
  • I don't like Star Wars Battlefront.
  • I hate star wars in general
  • I think Skyrim is a model example of a good RPG, along with Oblivion.
  • I cant play Morrowind for more than 2 minutes because of the graphics.
  • I love Fallout 3
  • I dont like Age of Empires
  • Red Dead Redemption is one of the worst games I have ever played.
  • The GTA series is overrated.

So skipping all the obvious Bethesda is a worthless developer at the moment (and it doesn't seem like it is going to change), Fallout 3/4 and TES 4/5 sucks 'n stuff...

- Fallout New Vegas is overrated
- Dark Souls' are overrated
- Witcher 3 is overrated
- GTA V is indeed overrated
- At least 95% of the whole gaming market offerings are full of shit
- Most people don't really like RPG's, but they do like it when a game is called one even if it really isn't and only mimics one through some loose criteria and features

- I cannot play MMOS and Rockstar games, some have a good foundation but they are stunningly boring
- I liked Starbound better than Terraria
- The new XCOM games are minigame and RNG governed Fire Emblems
- Minecraft isn't bad at all, but went downhill with the whole PvP proliferance in YouTube
- Every single mobile game ever is and will be bad, except for the open source Pixel Dungeon <3
- Nintendo rocks
POINTIEST:
- Borderlands 1 was better than 2

  • Despite its flaws, as some quest simplicity and overall shortness in 1 or lots of wacky stuff in 2, both BIS Fallouts are unmatched kings of computer games for me. Still playing them or their modifications after two decades, with the same pleasure!
  • Arcanum. Mindblowing! Deserved much better combat system though.
  • We badly need more slow-paced games with such bizzare and unique setting as Planescape: Torment.
  • Bethesda could bankrupt and stop making games right tomorrow and I wouldn't shred a tear.
  • 4x strategy games are the second best thing ever after Fallouts.
  • Jagged Alliance 2 dudes, fucking JA2!
  • Space sims are overlooked badly, what a shame. Play more space sims or bust! (Sturmovik too.)
  • I'm still running ten years old hardware, not a single game made me going for upgrade. WTF?
I love Fallout 3
Begone, foul spirit.

BIS only made Fallout 2 to be honest.

Anyway here's mine;
  • I don't think Wasteland 2 is a good enough successor to the Fallout series (I still like it however).
  • South Park: Stick of Truth left me feeling a little disappointed (but this was my fault more than anything else).
  • As much as I say I'm against Pre-Orders, I still tend to do it for a couple of games ><
  • I actually like Fallout 3 as an exploration game that I can waste time on.
  • Oblivion is also a decent game.
  • Tim Cain deserves way more love on both these forums and the Codex.
  • I think that Mass Effect 3, despite its flaws and ending, is a great game.
  • As much as I want Van Buren and I hate Bethesda for cancelling it... I'm really glad it led to New Vegas.
  • I think No Mans Sky is a fairly decent game.
  • I dislike Pokémon games after Blue and Red.... but I think Go is a much needed improvement on the Franchise.
  • (Not so much of an opinion but) Witcher 3 reminds me of Fable... which is good as I like Fable.
  • Fallout deserves an expanded Universe (preferably overseen by MCA).
  • And Finally... there needs to be a BMX XXX 2.

I sometimes play Sims 2 for the fun of it

By that I mean, not ONLY the manly stuff like drowning them in pools, or making them consistently shit themselves or trying to see how many pools of piss i can gather in a house-hold, or trying to block exits by moving furniture, putting the sims to sleep, while leaving the stove on, burning them all inside, or trying to litterally make them fist-fight themselves into exhaustion death

sometimes I actually make them keep jobs
call friends
and get promoted to better jobs

The only way to play Sims is to make a single teen guy... he then meets a Woman.
They fall in love, get married and have kids.

Then one day... she dies by being set on fire.
The dad turns into an alcoholic and beats his kids.

His children are then taken into care.
The Dad drinks himself to death.

And then you do it all again...

That's crueeeel!

I sometimes made such plays with sims I carefully sculpted to resemble my friends (and their families)

I should start playing with Women I never had the chance with...
See a life which could have been...

No punchline at the end of this, just forgotten hope...

(Maybe I could live with Death, that'll be fun).

-I think VR will do well in games that involve you not moving your body but controlling something. So things like driving games, space sims, or things like Artemis with friends. It could also find a niche in areas outside of traditional gaming.
-Elite: Dangerous is definitely a love it or hate it sort of game, and I fall into the love it category. Do I play it constantly? No, but it's the game I always keep coming back to.
-The Binding of Isaac is quite frankly one of the best games ever created.
-Metroid is the best game series that I absolutely cannot stand.
-World of Warcraft has awful gameplay, and I hate that it's style of gameplay has started to bleed into single player RPGs. It needs to stop.
-Narrative driven games need to keep in mind if their level of violence is thematically suitable. There have been a lot of games lately where the level of violence has snapped me right out of the story. The best examples to contrast are Bioshock, and Bioshock: Infinite. In the first Bioshock, the level of violence worked, made sense, and added to the story as a whole. In Infinite, it felt forced on me with just how often it happened. Infinite needed more intense violence, but less often. I hear similar things with games like Uncharted or the new Tomb Raider games giving this same sort of feeling to other people.
-To contrast the previous point, the new DOOM is pretty awesome, at least the single player is. You're given demons, and are allowed to rip and tear with reckless abandon. It's wonderful.
-Esports are a boon, and I'm glad they seem to be here to stay. I just want more than four games that have an air of legitimacy to them.

Dude that is just sad :(
You actually made me a little sad for you :(

Realistically though, given Sims limited options, you'd probably just end up playing a kind of 9-5-life, 1-2 kids, a depressing monotony, where the only deviation from a crushing routine be setting your family on fire or drowning them in the pool I:

I have a very... depressing sense of humour.
So don't feel too bad, I find it funny as fuck.

What is sad however is that Jade Empire won't save on my laptop.
Now that's read sadness.

I remember my brother playing it obsessively and having this massive mansion with swimming pool and all the stuff, and I went on it one day and burnt the entire thing down.

Mine:
  • Telltale games ar poorly writtn and just shit in general
  • Pokemon GO sucks. And I hope the fad dies out fast while not impacting the main games.
  • I think VR is stull just a rich people toy that offers nothing of value to gaming.
  • Arkham City is overrated, Asylum and Origins ar better games.
  • Star Wars is a deeply retarded series.
  • Bioshock Infinite is a poorly writtn game, it feels like a teenager wrote it after being told that his favorite band was satanic by a teacher.
  • Rockstar Games are an instant sleeping pill for me. Red Dead Redemption laster a bit longer for me than the others until I found out the main character dissolved on the water.
  • This is not unpopular in this forum, but Bethesda and Emil Plagiarulo seem to outsource their writting to a room full of monkeys.
  • I really dislike MMO's.
  • Nintendo really needs to stop releasing weird consoles and fucking up every sequel people ask of them.
  • New Vegas is the best Fallout game on writting and quest design.
  • Naugthy Dog is overrated. Uncharted games are better watched on youtube than played, because you can skip ahead of the boring gameplay.
  • The New Doom looks boring to me and I have no Idea why people think it's so good.

Truck and Farm simulators are not games, they are jobs that nobody get's paid for doing.

I did like only one of theirs: Tales From The Borderlands, and that is becouse it addressed the little things i like and NOT used the ones i don't from Borderlands;
Their relatively interesting lore (set by BL1 for the most part), the not completely retarded humor (whoops, general Pollux), the characers had some fun to them, or at least some gags (Ripped), and basically it had me laughing most of the time.
Maybe it was too becouse being Monkey Island-ish, especially the Main Character.

- I find GTA V overrated. Sure the world looks nice and Online can be fun at times, but it feels inferior to the likes of VC or SA.

- I think RDR is R*'s best work. Great world to explore, characters to meet, great story, and it's beautiful.

- I enjoy Fallout 4 quite a lot, probably have as much fun with it as NV. I recognize it's flaws however so I'm not defending it's design choices. I just enjoy it a lot.

- I think Scarface: The World Is Yours to be one of the best PS2 titles created.

- I find Mineczaft to be "meh". I never got into it much but I enjoy watching AH dick around in it. They make their own fun.
