    Being a mod doesn't really excuse bad writing, I've seen mods with amazing writing. [I've yet to play it but I'm not liking what I'm hearing.]

    Of course it does, this is basically a fan fic with a lot of effort. I am not expecting or demanding professional or veteran level writing from what is amateur work. They are putting their foot out with some rather impressive effort, they can only improve from there.

    Gave Scott Pilgrim a second chance, rewatched it completely from begining to end. I somehow hate it EVEN MORE now than before, huh.

    It's fun to nail a dish. I got a natural knack for cooking, but not enough experience with various dishes (and embarassingly little when it comes to traditional Norwegian stuff, except a nice salmon sear, I got that one down!). I made a pretty decent filled eggplant today though

    I also don't understand crunch. Studies have shown things like overworking causes physical and mental health issues, problems in home life, and has diminishing returns. Why pay someone more to be less productive? I get investors want their return of cash soon but I feel like it in a longer term, it's more worth it to not make people work overtime.

    Rape isn't an instant edgy score, y'know. And It isn't there just for the sake of being there or to pop off hardons for sickos. And shit, I'd like to see the director's cut they aired in your country. Sounds like they took out a lot of this comedic ecchi in the one I watched.

    The first episode is not representative of the rest of the source materia. And yeah, the rape is kinda there just to be shocking because there is no story or point to any of it. The production values are pretty mediocre and the characters don't even have names. Later on the light novel/manga this is based on it just becomes a retarded Harem with lots of rape and ecchi comedy.

    It's like Berserk for glue sniffers, or by a glue sniffer. The guy probably thinks just having a bunch of rape and a "badass" protagonist is enough to have a dark fantasy story, but they forgot the part where they actually write a story that is worth anything. Like I said, none of the characters even have a name.

    They simply are not able to pay all the paychecks, hire all the workers, to do all the work, that we, the consumers, aggressively demand. If they make us the sadz, we fuck them over, and they go out of business. They'll try short cuts instead, like not-really-big maps, radiant quests, kinda-shitty-graphics, and in comes the shitstorms

    Seems Rock Star, who have a gigantic reputation to keep intact, are resorting to a few steps away from coersion or something, just, work em to death, super-duper graphics on demand, mega-giga map wanted, just fuckin do it, 100 hour weeks. It's gonna be... interesting... to see what the industry looks like 10 years from now.

    Open world is probably the best way to make Spidey games imo. So I think it's a non issue. I love that game, I say it's worth the buy but I'm also a huge Spider-Man fan. So that's something to consider. Gotta take a AAA game at it's own merits and that it will always target a mass audience. It's okay to like mainstream things too.
