New Vegas has a three act structure since the beginning. That's how Avellone and most of Obsidian works, everyone knows that. In the classic games it was like that too, we develop the character and discover the world in act I, there's an unexpected twist in the second act, and a tense conclusion...

No it didn't the first deals putting it at 29 and 25 took just another month to show up.

Not in the early levels with the new patch. Lots of ambushes, foes with guns that actually kill you, and Legion Assassins showing up really early. The patch really toughen things up for the beginning of the game, I'm curious to see the effects on the later levels.

Exactly what's happening to me, the assassins really took me by surprise. And I was killed by Vipers with guns a couple of times, something that never happened before...
