Guys, it's obviously something along the lines that the Enclave sent someone up to space in a Power Armor suit (Space ship variant Power Armor with thrusters and stuffs, of course) to destroy the Brotherhood of Steel's satellite.

Also, if they had a satellite that allows communication over the continent :

-Why do the outcasts want to (and fail to) restore radio contact with the council of elders, when there's a way more efficient technology available ?
-Why didn't the council of elders call for backup when the NCR turned Maxson State into a graveyard ?
-Why does the midwest brotherhood can't simply contact the council of elders to inform them that the expedition east failed, and that there's a huge robot army coming from vault 0 ?
-Why does Lyons fails to contact western chapters, if they can communicate via satellite ?
It just gets worse and worse, the more i think about it. Bethesda really doesn't think through of all the bullshit they pull out of their asses.

I don't even care if they break lore at this point, it's just the people eating this up and telling they are doing a good job. I might not care that they break lore, but i sure as hell ain't saying they are doing a good job.

So they established a BoS presence on the East Coast, but they didn't organize the newer Eastern BoS followers to go recon the Pentagon (in the same state) and find the seemingly bottomless pit of Power Armor? ...It just stayed there for ~200 years? Additionally, nobody from Vault 76 thought to mount expeditions there to begin with?

I can already imagine some "lore buff" making an excuse along the lines of "Well DC area was hit really hard by nukes so it's probably heavily irradiated still." All while there's player's launching and detonating nukes one state over and marching into the fallout zone minutes later.

Watch the Fallout Reddit, Tagaziel will explain it exactly like that.

The satelite would have been lost in the first generation. Then they would be right where we saw them in the original games. Regardless...if this was true they would be much stronger. Where is the proof of this satellite shit? I don't have Twitter. Was it in a video?

Is anyone really surprised at this point? I mean, we are talking about a company that retcons their own games in the same bloody game. Like NotFallout 4 Power Armour idiocy?

It is really funny that people are NOW paying attention to the lore. It's not like 3,4 and now 76 have been full of that before. Fanboyism at it's finest.

It's not gonna flop, simply because people are idiots and will buy it simply based on brand recognition. Though, the consolation is the fact that a tiny percentage of people are now paying attention to it.

Though, considering how fast PAID MODS were forgotten, my trust in humanity is gone anyway. Oh well, waiting for the Encased and other games to come out, I guess.

People are paying attention to the lore because these are all NuFallout fanboys.

Take another video bashing Bethesda. We won in the end. Or was it lost? We did something.

Oh well.
Fallout is dead. Making fun of their "Lore by Tweet" is bound to get old fast. Good thing a bunch of Weaboo shit is coming out in the coming months to keep me occupied.

At this rate, I will take anything I can get. It's small progress but it is something.

That reminds me that COD with battle royale mode only is selling like crazy. So much for boycotting and how much it is worth.

At least bugthesda is screwing up the pooch, so maybe they will lose some money. The hype for this game is not nearly as intense as for 4.

Reading the comments on that video, i smell someone saying that everybody who cares about lore consistency "is being too nitpicky" or other bullshit arguments to try to devalue lore consistency into something minor.

These types of people are the worst.

Ah the same people who think The Last Jedi is a good movie.

I know it is of course because of money because otherwise I would not understand why game publishers would want to appeal to this kind of audience.

I know god forbid people actually want some basic lore consistency. This satellite deal is classic Bethesda. While it might explain why the BoS is in West Virginia, it also calls into question earlier games. So did the BoS lose this satellite at some point? It's also the biggest hand wave I've seen yet. It's a super convenient excuse for anytime someone calls in to question the BoS being in a said region.

"Where pleased to announce FO5 set in the South East Commonwealth! The BoS makes an appearance in their fight against another, even more dangerous group of Mutants!"
"W-"
"Cause satellite!"

I can't wait to hear the back story the construction power.

It can't be as bad as the excuse for T-60 power armor.

"LMAO IT WAS IN THE CITADEL THIS WHOLE TIME."

Something as simple as saying the Brotherhood of Steel developed their own PA would have sufficed. Instead we get some weird exposition where they had this massive cache of prototype PA and didn't realize it. It makes you wonder how fucked these guys would be without sheer dumb luck and plot armor vault dwellers.

This is literally all they had to say with the T-60. I can believe that the BoS modified the T-45's enough to make a new model, but nope, it's pre-war...for some reason.

As per pre-Bethesda Fallout games... The Brotherhood didn't know how to make Power Armor, they did know how to make conventional armor and energy weapons. The best they could do with the PA Suits was to maintain them; tuning & part swapping and such.

The Enclave were able to construct Power Armor, and they had administrative control over Posiedo Net, the Vault-tek computer network—they could have logged into any of the Pipboys if they had tried.
