Firstly, thank you killap for all your hard work on making Fallout 2 nearly bug free.

However, I have encountered a few bugs, namely:
1. Having Smitty install the Fuel Cell Regulator for Klamath correctly halves fuel consumption, but he did not remove the part from my inventory and I could repeatedly ask him to fit it, costing me money each time but not further effecting fuel efficiency.
2. After paying T-Ray to get the car back and paying for his upgrade and leaving his room he attack my character for no apparent reason. Leaving the map and returning made him non-hostile again.
Possibly not a bug, but odd nonetheless:
3. Vault City's Vault Computer let me look up information on power generation and gave a line about Gordon in Gecko being right... the problem is my character had never talked to Gordon.

Once again, thank you for all your hard work.

I can confirm that when forcing the VC vault doors with ST 7 and a crowbar, the PC says "hrrrrn" but the door does not open. It then says it's stuck open when you try to open it again, and the crowbar does nothing.

If you have the Bag it can interfere with item losage. Possibly fixable by changing the command used.

I have not been able to reproduce this bug. I tried all the doors and those that require a strength check I was successfully able to use the crowbar instead. Can you (or anyone who experienced this issues) please provide me with a save game so I can test this?

I loaded a savegame before getting the car and dropped the Bag first and the regulator was removed correctly this time, so it seems to be the Bag causing the problem, as Per suggested.

Found another bug: Getting the knife training from Little Jesus as a male can give you the Gigolo reputation.

Nevermind, I found him. In your patch he seems to be around a lot.

Update
Sorry for the double post, internet explorer wasn't showing the edit button- my apologies.

Two more things two look at:

1.) The townspeople in The Den don't seem to talk, they have no floating text when I try and talk to them. In fact, when I try and talk to them nothing happens.

2.) The slotmachines in Redding have a spelling error. Riffle as opposed to rifle.

Again, sorry for the doublepost.

Umm, well he will always be there if you never take the quest to retrieve the money. And if you to take the quest and let him keep some money, then he will stay around until some set time goes by then he changes clothing. I altered nothing with him being around, just the rewards he gives you.

Do you mean the addicts? I can talk to them and floating text appears over all of them. Not sure what you mean.

Noted

The people in The Den that are labeled as "townspeople" don't seem to have any dialog or floating text or anything. The addicts, as you noted, are fine.

The not finding Fred thing was me being stupid, pay it no further heed.

Lastly, I noticed the description of the superstims say "due to powerful nature", which should probably read "the powerful nature".

Hmm, I may have to take another look, but I thought there were only two people with the "townspeople" title in the Den - Both Derek and Fred. Perhaps there are more...Let me check again.

Fred and Derek are "citizens of the den", the ones I'm talking about are labeled "townspeople". Don't sweat it, as far as I know they aren't too terribly important. This will probably be my last post for awhile, moving onto other things. Good luck with your patch. It's comforting to know that people still care about this game even after all these years.

Ah yes, they are "citizen;" my mistake. I am curious about these "townspeople" though, where exactly are they located? Randomly walking around or in a set area?

Exactly, there's only two or three of them on the main map if I recall. I'm guessing they don't have a script associated with them. But I don't know much about that sort of thing.

Well actually I took a look at the map and everyone has a script assigned to them. Looking at the script, I see that when a person is not set to be in a store or bar he/she is assigned the title of "townsperson" as opposed to customer, gambler, etc. When this occurs in the script, floating text should be displayed when you click on the "townsperson" but for some reason it never does. I need to take a closer look at this at some point.

Like I said it's not a big thing. I'm incredibly anal about games and it didn't bother me that much. I only mentioned it because I feel that your patch is bringing Fallout 2 closer and closer to what it should have been and to that end I want to help make it as perfect as possible.

A question, I read in the readme that you don't have a picture for one of the endings. I believe it was for a character, why not use a screenshot of the talking head?

When I try to exit NCR, the game consistenly crashes, much like it did when I tried entering the Sierra Army Depot with the old version of Killapp's patch.

EDIT: To be more specific, it crashes when I try to exit the main city (with the police station and all that) and enter the outskirts where my car is parked. For some reason, this did not happen yesterday, however, the game crashed when I was fighting the slavers.

Well, crashes had been reported in NCR and with the release of my latest patches seemed to have cleared that up (did not alter anything specifically but the 1-2 people who reported crashes said it stopped) My only guess is that perhaps you were playing the game with my older patch (perhaps even went to NCR at some point) and then installed the newest version of my patch. My patches are made to not require a whole character restart, nor a reinstall of the game, but a reinstall of the game (still can use your old save games) is always highly recommend after each patch update.

In your case, I have a feeling that you have been to NCR before in the game you are currently playing, and are one of the unlucky ones to encounter a crash in NCR. A reinstall of the game may help and is worth a shot, but to really fix this you may have to revert to a save before ever entering NCR. (the game saves map files so this will allow the game to use the newer NCR map file that comes with my newest patch) Let me know the outcome of all this.

Reinstalling did fix it, and I didn't even have to use an earlier save. At first I was going to reply that it was my first time in the NCR, but then I remembered that the first time I entered the city, I actually drove out and then re-entered (without entering any other cities, I just had that random bridge encounter with the three questions).
I don't know if that's what caused it, of course, but that's all I know. Thanks for the help!
