Anyone else think this whole 'Synth' thing has gone too far?

There's still Project Louisiana, seeing as how some Obsidian guys said they'd like to do a Fallout in New Orleans there's a slim chance that that's what Project Louisiana is (probably not though since JE Sawyer specifically said it wouldn't be).
Also IIRC, isn't Tim Cain working at Obsidian now? I'm sure he'd love to get a chance to work on another Fallout.

Yeah, he'll probably be working on Project Louisiana as well, especially since he created Troika and, VTM is the most likely candidate for Project Louisiana.

Nah, i'm really "in love" with the synth concept. They are whacky .. they are creepy, and .. new! We need new thing in fallout. New factions. New people. We need to cut off with the old games. the BOS can't be everywhere, the NCR is not everywhere. Even the enclave is not everywhere and they're just the government. I think they are one of the best idea made for fallout actually (along with the prydwen). The problem is, they're not enough explained, there's no real lore behind them, so i guess this is why "we" don't like them, and i can understand that :/ most of the games is like that sadly

Tell Bethesda that the BOS can't everywhere, they have the idea that the BOS is a massive organization with resources to spare.
They can't even pacify the Capital Wasteland, yet send a large number of soldiers, technicians, and scientists, not to mention their most important military asset for not much of a reason to a region they know little about.
Not even "because the Institute is there" is a valid reason as the BOS previously barely knew about them, let alone consider them to be an actual military threat.

Also goes the other way, if the BOS had never shown up, had the Institute considered the BOS a threat?
