ATOM RPG 1.0 is released!

Then read the rules? I don't know what else to tell you. Not trying to insult you.
See, this is why you should be allow to reply each posts separately. I never mentioned YOU were insulting me. My reply about insulting doesn't even quote any posts made by you, but someone else's. This is what happen if you try to reply all different posts in one same post. People get confused which one is replying which one's post.

And how was I unclear? I asked if you were rude because their actions would make sense.
Yes. As a non-native English speaker myself, I found your last post very incomprehensible, due to lack of comma between words and such.
If you've asked me that I was being rude to them, which makes their action acceptable, you should have wrote that down exactly the same as your last post.

I'm a non-native English speaker as well, and I had no trouble understanding any of the previous posts.

Still you didn't answer, were you rude to them?

They have been getting plenty of criticism and suggestions on how to improve, over at the Codex. And they are actually listening and implementing some of the suggestions.

So, I don't see why they would delete your post, if it was constructive critique.

I asked, essentially, were you being rude? If you were being rude, then that would show why they aren't listening to you. I know you practically said you weren't being rude. But look back at what you said to people, was it rude? Also, I've noticed non-native English speakers can word things in certain ways that come off as rude. There's certain ways people speak in the USA that can be perceived as rude but to an outsider, it may seem like the sentence was just a statement.

This example isn't necessarily rude but rather dismissive:
Person 1: "Hey man! I like your shirt a lot!"
Person 2: "Ok" or "K"
Something like that shouldn't get you banned on a forum but it might irritate someone. I have a friend that responds to things with "K" a lot though he's never been trying to be rude. He's just acknowledging what you said. His first language isn't English so he doesn't understand that we don't really do that. In English it's better to say, "Thank you" if you want to be short and not converse much back.

So maybe you did something like that? Or maybe you were just rude? I was asking you to actually reflect back to what you said to see if it was rude.

And I realize you weren't speaking to me about being insulted, I was just clarifying that I'm not trying to insult you by telling you to read the rules. The first thing I did when I came here was search for the rules. I don't know them by heart or anything, but I know the general gist of what's allowed and what's not.

I'm a non-native English speaker as well, and I had no trouble understanding any of the previous posts.
Non-native English speaker, yes. But is your native language uses an alphabet?

Digging through your profile, I've found that you've came from Czechoslovakia, which uses Czech as its native language, and Czech is a language that contains a form of alphabet. You'd probably disagree this, but being a native to a language that contains a form alphabet, really, REALLY helps speaking English. You ARE using the very similar language to English is what I'm saying.

My native language is Korean, which is not even close to being similar to English. 이걸 봐봐. 네 눈에는 이게 영어의 알파벳이랑 비슷해 보이니? The similarity between Korean and English is below zero percent, unlike Czech. So comparing your skill of English and mine, and saying "Hey, I'm a non native English speaker, and I can understand that!" Makes absolutely no sense and unfair.

Although it is true that you had no idea my native language is Korean, so it makes somewhat sense for that regard.
But enough of that. The point is, be careful when you use the term "I'm a non-native English speaker as well." - There is a big difference for being a native in France and China, and regarding oneself as a non-native English speaker.

I really don't want to dig through my memory and post that here. The only thing you should know is that there was a big time gap between I was actually making constructive criticisms about the game, and apparently being rude to the devs. Between that gap, they had a time to implement the feature I suggested, but they didn't. And they'll probably not gonna do it, either. Why? Because they hate me, and all of my criticisms.

I asked, essentially, were you being rude? ... So maybe you did something like that? Or maybe you were just rude? I was asking you to actually reflect back to what you said to see if it was rude.
You can check the remaining posts of mine that was apparently disrespectful in here and here if it's your dead wish to see what happened.

And I realize you weren't speaking to me about being insulted, I was just clarifying that I'm not trying to insult you by telling you to read the rules.
You weren't insulting me, and I wasn't saying you were insulting me. There's nothing to clarify if nothing happened between us.

I'm not from Czechoslovakia... And have no idea where on my profile you found that. I need to check that out.

Then maybe the problem is not the lack of punctuation, but you being Korean?
Not trying to be rude (because I suck at conveying my intention using English, so many times people might think I'm being rude when it's not my intention), but if you're from a country that uses such different writing style, maybe it's you who have to adapt to be able to comprehend the English language even when it's not grammatically correct, or lacks punctuation?
Maybe that's what the problem was also in the ATOM forums deleted posts? They are also not English native speakers, they are Ukrainian (if I'm remembering it correctly), which uses a Cyrillic alphabet variation. So they have similar problems with understanding English. Join with being two different "non native" English ways of communicate and confusion will be likely to appear.

Your screenshots seem to prove that.
They seem to think you were being continuously disrespectful toward other users and the team. It also seems like they warned you multiple times before banning you.

I think it might be the case I sometimes have. I say things with the best of intentions, but whoever is reading it thinks I'm being disrespectful or malicious. That is why I usually have to make notes saying I'm not trying to be disrespectful, and that I have trouble conveying my point when I type in English, because people can't really see if I'm joking, asking honest questions and being calm and calculated instead of trying to be a troll or something.

You have no right to dig through and assume what happen between me and those devs. So stop it. It's something that happened in the past, and I can't do nothing about it, nor I want to.

I seriously don't want to discuss this any further. It was a terrible memory, all I can say is that ATOM RPG is nowhere near close to being 'a true successor of Fallout'. It's an atrocious game made by atrocious mankind, and it pains me that people don't see this game in the way I see it. End of story.

Oh, and I clicked your profile, saw you're male from Aussie Land. Clicking Aussie Land revealed the location somewhere near at Czecho. That's how I assumed where you're from, but that's not really a matter to discuss. You probably from a country that uses a language that contains alphabet, ANYWAY.

I see. Indeed you come across quite rude and insulting in your tone in this previous post.
Luckily I now know you don't really mean it in that way, but you might want to work a bit at sounding more polite when communicating in English. Because otherwise more people will think you're being rude or insulting them.

Hope you find games that will give you more pleasant memories and experiences than ATOM did.

@JohnnyCasey I'm just going to add that, you're a Korean, the ATOM team is based on Russia, I guess it's safe to assume there's a language barrier between you and them that leads to them deleting your Steam thread. Not too long ago, someone here posted that "Fallout of Nevada is THE shit", and then one of the guys who's related to its development/development of Crazy Edition took it the wrong way and thought the guy said that "Fallout of Nevada is SHIT" and responded accordingly.

I think I'll call the guy who participated in the Codex and see if he can answer to your criticism here.

The case you've present is not even close to being similar to what actually happened between me and the devs, but whatever. Mankind can imagine and assume whatever they want, and believe whatever they want to believe. And I can do nothing about it, if they just want to believe that way. I'm not even gonna try.

Ay right, sure. We only have your words here, but do whatever you want. I can see why the devs would actually go as far as deleting your "criticism" thread at Steam, despite the fact that they're fine mingling with such a harsh place like the Codex.

There are some people in the Codex that don't like this game, but even they didn't went that far.

I picked this up some time before new year, and its been great fun!

It feels solid for what it is:
Main story is ok, nothing too convoluted and has a couple of twists.
Side quests i like allot.

There are 4 settlements off decent content size and about 10 more smaller ones
on the main map, and two big locations outside that you transition too wich could
use more work but that might come with the dlc they have planned.

Character models are awesome, plenty of clothes/gear to pick from in begining,
some can save you lots of hours of searching random caravans.
Your head looks like your portrait of choice and all armor, helmets,
scarfs, masks, hats, caps, clown noses, neckleses are displayed on the model!

They have reasently been several patches of wich some fixed bugs
and some did some rebalancing to combat.

Ranged combat is brutal and they have super fun crossbows(Throwing skill) aswell.
Granades and molotovs feel kind of weak and are only for weak enemies,
Placed Explosive are only usefull if you place them before combat starts.

Meelee seems hard and i only played on Normal and grinded random encounters
till lvl 24 but i still got stuck on one of the last areas in game.
Unlike Fallout your meelee dmg is only added to the highest value in dmg range.

There may be other stuff with meelee or criticals in general that i dont fully understand
like i dont see any hit bypassing armor - only whatever dmg geting multiplied by some amount.

The points you get on level up you always get 2 on Normal and Perks? cost goes
progressevly up by 1 so about 9-10 Perks? you will aquire in playthrough.
Half of them are tragicly usless so i guess thats a plus. :(

All in all, they seem to be improving on where they get feedback.
This was an awsome end of year suprise and id recommend it to any fallout fan
BUT the combat and perks could use tweaking.
