About beards, eh, can't say I am a big fan. A stubble is nice enough for a couple of days where I just want to trim without just clean shaving, but it irritates me after, and I know just about nobody who has a real, full beard and does not look like an hobo.
As for the subject of the fairer sex, the men I know that really get around all have some kind of stubble. Speaks for almost nothing, but there it is.

I (try to) grow a goatee, and as soon as my beard fully growns, which I believe will take a year or two, I'll let it cover my face. I don't know. My father always had a beard, all my uncles, my grandfather, and all other men in my family, and I always found it pretty good looking.
Also, I'm already young (20), but when I clean shave my face, I look like I'm 16, seriously.
All the girls I got interested in prefer guys with beards. Most of the girls I knew who were really against beards (not ALL of them, but most) were quite dumb and futile, not really my kind of girls.
