Bethesda announces another E3 press conference

Lots of cancer right there.

Yea, they'll probably just give away the franchise that they bought for a few million, and resurrected into one of the most memorable games of the last gen. And into one of the top selling games of the current gen.

They'll probably give it away, no biggie.
Sure, baby.

And then there's this guy saying NMA's been 'mourning' the 'deaths' of Fallout for over a decade now. Little do they know, most of folks here actually had just starting to move on with the resurgences of cRPGs, and then there's some new projects like NMA's PnP and Interview with the original creators starting with Chris Avellone. I mean, okay, even I here would sometime still lamented of what could've been, but that's mostly because I'm relatively new to the franchise.

Edit: More on topic, I kind of won't be surprised if they have the guts to announce TES VI this year. But looking at the feedback for Fallout 4 - DLCs - Modding Scene, I also predict they would want to hold on, lest they can't 'get away' as usual.

I doubt they'll be announcing TES 6 quite yet, maybe strongly hinting at it but realistically it'll take about 3 years for that.
The E3 conference will probably be Dishonored 2, Fallout DLC, DOOM DLC, a new Wolfenstein and, if we're all extremely good boys and girls this christmas, maybe an Obsidian Fallout.

i really like want to see the gameplay of dishonored 2 or the possibility of DOOM SP expansion/DLC

I am abnormally excited for Bethesda's press conference solely due to Dishonored 2. Loved the first game. Glad the 2nd one will allow more types of non-lethal takedowns. The only thing I don't like so far is they consider the clockwork soldiers to not be alive so doing killing type moves on them doesn't count against pacifist. If they're an enemy, it shouldn't matter. They should have a way to shut down clockworks without "killing" them. Though perhaps there's more to it we don't know. Hence why I'm looking forward to hearing more. :P

Though to be fair, I *think* New Vegas had the same rule with robots. Destroying them doesn't count against pacifist cuz they're not living creatures. Not entirely sure because I always used Robotics Expert to just shut them down. *shrug*

the whole pacifist and lethal thing is about restoring/maintaining the Order. that's why its called chaos system not karma morality.

at least their games (wolfenstein, dishonored, DOOM) do look same (or even better) at release compared to in E3 reveal. most company do lot drastic downgrade to the game. CDPR included

take DOOM for example, the engine more revamped, looks more good and even better optimized than beta release (something other developer dont take note)

I LOVED Wolfenstein: The New Order. I mean WOW what a surprise that was - it had unexpectedly good storytelling and characters. I'm glad to hear DOOM did not disappoint either.

Those games are all great. What bothers me is Elder Scrolls and Fallout. The writing, characters, and story in Wolfenstein: The New Order was much more interesting and enjoyable than in Fallout 4 and that just doesn't make sense.

What game was that?

Considering how much Fallout 4 bombed, announcing a new Elder Scrolls game would probably be the best way to circumvent the huge backlash. Fallout 4's still sitting at a 5.4 on Metacritic, that's abyssmal for Beth games. They're going to do whatever it takes to get back in peoples' good graces. Though considering they haven't exactly been smart with marketing lately, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume they're probably just going to announce Dishonored 2, show some DOOM stuff, and showcase a new FO4 DLC.

It's more likely they consider Fallout 4 a smashing success and Elder Scrolls VI will be even more dumbed down and stupid.

That would be funny to see them show off a rushed broken buggier than usual gameplay trailer of the next Elder Scrolls game just to rip the attention away from this disaster...

Or just show a CGI trailer instead of actual gameplay. :smug:

There's no way there'll be a TES announcement, Bethesda always likes to take their time with projects; the gap between Skyrim and Fallout 4 was 4 years, you should expect that again. As a side note, I loosely remember them saying they'll be releasing a couple of new IPs, so those will probably be announced soon, though it might just be QUAKE.
