Can we honestly say Fallout 4 is better than Fallout 3?

Considering how many people love that, expect Fallout to become an annual series with rip-offs and competitors from left and right all over the AAA industry in the following years. It will be the next Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed. The yearly uninspired releases of easy cashgrabs.

Bethesda can't even release a finished game when given multiple years for its development. I don't think we need to worry about them somehow being able to pump them out yearly.

Fallout 4 is their biggest success in years and with the profits gained, Bethesda Softworks is already expanding their company and creating new subsidiaries. Sooner or later, they will gain the ability to pump more Fallout 4s out at an annual rate.

I'm not worried about it but it seems very likely. I wonder how everyone here will feel then about Fallout becoming synonymous with "AAA yearly release" and Call of Duty. I'm sure you're all very proud of Fallout for coming this far...

Hehehe... don't scare us.

If they don't release new games every year they'll likely release shovelware like Fallout Shelter featuring microtransactions instead. Then try forcing microtransactions into their new Fallout installments too along with paid mods if Fallout 4 doesn't already do that.

Yearly copy and paste games aren't hard, ask Ubisoft, and I doubt they opened a second studio because they needed more people for the BGS is awesome circle jerk.

Fallout:The Card Game
World of Fallout
And ... the isometric turn based Fallout action RPG for smartphones ...

They probably should release a new Fallout game within a year...Fallout 4 is an example of "Go home and try again."

I am seriously curious to see the next Elder Scrolls game be an absolute linear mess with a voiced protagonist, dialogue wheel, no dialogue options, and a quest system comprised of 10 trillion dungeon clearing quests with "puzzles" which tell you to match shapes right in front of you and weapons that occupy 60% of the screen. Probably with a field of view of about 50.

If that's the case then does that mean if they fail again it's a "Go home and never try again" situation? You know because I'm totally okay with that. Maybe then someone competent will take over.

For some reason I don't think it's going to be popular...

I've always been confused by the naked Fallout and Skyrim mods, it's not like the character models are attractive in any way, most of them are accurately described as potato faced, so why do people want to see them naked?

Because people are sick?

There's beauty mods for the face too though.
