Horizon looked pretty bad, average at best. I predict low scores.

Looked fun to me, if they actually have emergent gameplay with the animals and it doesn't turn into Femcharted, I mean Tomb Raider.

Why does Nintendo keep doing weird shit with Paper Mario? I mean, don't get me wrong, this new one crossing with the Mario and Luigi series is the best thing the Paper mario series has had in years and the closer to the previous games in gameplay, but why does Nintendo doesn't just release a third Turn based JRPG Paper mario game? Since the second one they just keep doing weird experiments, first turning it into a plataformer with a healthbar and a switch perspective gimmick, a game based around stickers and now a crossover.....

I think it sells fairly well for them. Mario and Luigi is a bit different than Paper Mario, so this crossover should introduce some new concepts for the series. If only we had a Super Mario RPG sequel. Can't see Nintendo and Square Enix ever doing that again. The switching perspective aspect of Paper Mario isn't really a gimmick, more of a unique gameplay mechanic that hasn't been done that often. I enjoy the series, granted it isn't that difficult but it is charming. RPG's like that are good for breaking people into the genre, especially if they are more casual with their gaming. My wife enjoyed the one on Gamecube, and my ex liked the one on N64. Neither of them are big into gaming. I think turn based needs to return too. I have a feeling FF7 remake will do away with it.

I like the Mario and Luigi series, the yare pretty funny and have interesting gameplay. It's just that I want a pure Paper mario sequel. Turnbased, RPG, no stickers, no plataformer with items and such. I think sometimes Nintendo tries way too hard to be "unique" and they end up just fudging up some games.

I agree. It does seem like they are constantly trying to throw in "gimmicks" with certain titles instead of going with what worked in the past. Sticker Story or whatever the hell it was called is the prime example of adding shit to a series that is unwanted. I still don't understand why Nintendo doesn't make a RPG series with more of their characters. I would love to see a RPG with Mario, Kirby, Ness, and Link.

A Zelda RPG would work incredibly well, they could even have a party of Heroes instead of just link, they have all the races, the magic and the items to build some RPG mechanics on top of it.

Anyone else psyched for Dishonored 2 ? I am, I like the new location (the southern island very Indiaesque). I like being able to play as Emily with her own useful powers. I am curious who the antagonist is and wonder if they are also "touched" by The Outsider. In one of the DLC's The Outsider mentions like 5 people are also known/blessed by the The Outsider. You figure Corvo, Doud, Dunwall Witch, Emily, maybe potential new antagonist ?

I am also looking forward to the new Deus Ex title. New locations and new augments look fun and interesting. I wonder what ending they went with for Human Revolution. I really enjoyed HR but I loved and highly recommend playing the Directors Cut. It feels like a much more complete experience probably because playing better Boss battles and The Missing Link integrated into the main game so fulfilling.

Actually there are eight people and Emily wasn't yet marked at that moment. So we can count Daud, Corvo, Granny Rags and Delilah. That leaves four more people with the mark, without taking into account that the Outsider could mark more people in the time between the games (Emily is all grown up, and in her story Corvo is dead).

But she has no mark during the events of the first Dishonored. Piero also received dreams from the Outsider but he was never marked, he just got visions that inspired a lot of his inventions.

I'm' sure the the wiki is wrong and you're right snowflake. Anyways She clearly has powers from the clips we've seen from E3. That Lovecraftian tentacle grappling hook-like thing is evident of that.

When did I say the wiki is wrong? The wiki itself says that 8 people marked exist and that Emily and Piero received visits from the Outsider but neither had the mark....

You said Emily wasn't chosen/known and I showed the wiki says otherwise. I am talking about being psyched for Dishonored 2 and your being pedantic and talking about her being marked in Dishonored 1, which wasn't relevant to being psyched for the sequel which was the point of my post. But, its all about gotcha message board dick measuring contest because I said "like 5" instead of 8. You know not actually maybe talking about the sequel and why we are excited for it instead of non-related semantics. She has abilities as per the E3 footage of the game whether or not the Outsider marked her in D1 the interim between or D2 is not relevant to my excitement for this title.

Emily wasn't marked during the first game. Thats kind of obvious.
Why are you all insulted for being corrected on something minor? I am excited for Dishonored 2, you seem to be just throwing a tantrum over nothing, grow up.

Fist off I never said she was, you seem keep harping on it for some reason. I corrected your correction and provided a link showing a relationship between the Outsider and Emily. She obviously has abilities in D2. Whether or not she is marked by The Outsider during the events of D1 is irrelevant. You felt the need to correct even though that was not the issue. Second I'm not having a tantrum just responding to you. Calling your "correction" posts pedantic is not tantamount to throwing a tantrum. But I think we are both smart enough to know that.

Wow, you really took it personal to being corrected on something so minor. Gota be kind of annoying talking to you in person.

In any case, no more derailing, if you have a problem with something that simple that's your problem. I am looking ofrward to Dishonored 2 gameplay videos in the near future, and that's it.

I think so too. There are more than enough factions, races, and locations to flesh out a RPG or maybe even a MMO. Hyrule Warriors has shown that Zelda can migrate over to different genres rather successfully. I suppose it would be hard to choose the way the combat would work with RPG stats. If it was turn based some Zelda fans might not like it. Something like Xenoblade might work alright.
