They can. Once they defeat Ireland (this isn't Russia, trust me) they're probably going to go against France, which is an easy shot to the semi finals. They're pretty skilled players.

Then it's all luck.

The leg is clipped a little, but it's pretty clear that Karagounis just goes to ground looking for the foul. His body goes limp as soon as he realizes he's been clipped.

I'm still shocked Russia was eliminated. They were clearly the best team in that group. What the hell?
 
It doesn't matter because germany and portugal are waiting to knock out whoever comes on top in that group

Anyway, two good games today. I'm both loving this cup so far and weirded out by it at the same time. Loved loved both passes that resulted in Ronaldo's goals.

Well you can continue to hope as you probably did with yesterday's game but Portugal will pass to the next stage.
Holland is overrated, they are not truly a team, just a bunch of arrogant stars.
In the end Spain will win the Euro of course.

Germany. In my opinion, it has this tendency to play the game until the very last minute, even if they're losing (blasphemy) or leading half a dozen goals ahead.

Time will tell of course.

I'm happy for the Greeks, the poor bastards need some good news. The sad dutchies didn't get pass their group stage, what went wrong?

Still I think Spain can pull this off, and be the first team to win back to back championships. As long as England or Italy don't win I'm fine with all the other teams winning this.
 
What a piss-poor match for France. Passing the first round with a loss against Sweden, ffs. And we're going up against Spain, even. Gotta have to step up to the plate or they'll eat us alive.

England's probably going to fail against Italy as well... Which leaves (most likely) Portugal against Spain (interesting) and Germany against Italy. After which it's Germany versus whoever wins that first match.

I guess that's just your country. Here in Czech all we get is Respect (anti-racism advertisement) and all the major car supporters of Euro (Hyundai and the likes). No beer even!!!
