The English squad passed by my place one hour ago. Many policemen in motorcycles, another bus without the oficial colors behind, a few paparazzi trying to take a pic in motion, and a helicopter who passed just in front of me, and i live just in the third floor. Crazy pilot. Anyway the oficial temperature is of 32/33º Celsius, since i know where is taken , outside the city itself, and one has to add two or three degrees to that in the Stadium area, i must say they are going to be drawning in sweat...

I`m going to watch the game on TV naked eating ice cream, not a nice sight , i can tell you that

:)

Enjoy your ice cream Briosa?
Meh. That game was one hell of a dissapointment. The goals were quite nice, but they ran contrary to the flow of the game. We certainly didn't deserve that scoreline.

Has there been any more news of England fans rioting?
Gods, I hope they don't get us kicked out.

Bulgaria have good atack, but poor defense.
I hope we beat Denmark to continue playing in Portugal  .

Buhhaahahha Totti is out of the game  .

They can't. In case you hadn't noticed, the UEFA president retracted his statement the day after he had made it. Silly silly man. Stupid statement as well, you can't kick out all of the teams, you'd have nothing left.
I have to say, though, that the penalties imposed on hooligans seem quite severe, which is good. I've heard of 1 and 2 years of prison for English hooligans.

I missed England v. Switzerland, but it's no big surprise that England won. You could hardly expect anything different. Pool B seems to be the pool with a standard outcome: England and France to the quarter finals, Croatia and Switzerland out.

And Totti is a fucktard. First he tries to kick a player into the fucking hospital and ruin his career by kicking him on the knee with no ball around. And then he spits Poulsen in the face. Methinks that the penalty of three matches was more because of the kick than the spitting, because they couldn't penalise the kicking anymore.

Good. Scum of the earth. They should throw the book at them.

Not from the way we were playing.

Whoaa, let's see what band of amphetaminized cretins wins this time!

Damn this game is boring. It's the slowest play I've seen yet. I've seen much faster play in the Dutch second division. Jesus.
Stupid French and Croatians.

Big_T: I'm not saying it's deserved, I'm just saying that that's what will happen. Basically because Switzerland and Croatia are a lot suckier.

Great second half, didn`t saw that coming hey Sander? I didn`t particularly liked how England played, against teams with a better midfielf, putting more pressure, and more talented players in the attack, they just don`t seem prepared; and France with Thierry-Henry and Pires playing like that just doesn`t work, together with Croatia everything can happen.

I`m watching my city live on Sky News, party everywhere, no problems until now, but in Albufeira things are still a bit tense and a few more brits were arrested.

France played like rubbish! I was ashamed, and watched the last part of the documentary on the CIA instead. Good thing it ended 2-2 though, but France could have done so much more (I remember when two players tripped on each other trying to get the ball. Sad is what it is.).

Are you a Frenchie Babs?
I never knew...

What happened? France were very dominant in the first half, but they were equal (at best) in the second. From the way they started the game I expected better.
Much more interesting than the England game at any rate.

And Wooz, I thought you hated Footy?

I did not see that coming at all. Now this was a lot more interesting and a lot more fun than the first half. And even moreso now that every team in pool B can still win.

France didn't play ''like rubbish''-the Croatian team was playing very well.the referee was a ''little bit'' bribed or very stupid-watch the last goal again.

Hands isn't always punisheable. It's only punishable if the hands was on purpose, and it probably wasn't in the case of Trezeguet. The keeper tried to kick the ball away (he should've gone in with his hands), and Trezeguet was in the way. There was nothing Trezeguet could do.

Well, not exactly, hands is still punishable if not on purpose, it only isn't punishable if thje hands was the fault of someone in the opposing team, i.e. someone kicks the ball against your arm without giving you a chance to move away. If the ball bounces and you touch it on accident, you could get whistled back, tho'...

As far as I know...

game still sucked.

i have to agree with the well hung dutchie here

and i'll even take it one step further:
football sucks donkeyballz

True, it's not probable though, usually if you touch the ball by accident, it's because someone shot it at you, even when it bounces.

Should we put a "soccer haters stay out" sign on this thread, now?

when you put the option "who gives a shit" into the poll it kinda means that soccerhaters have a voice too in this thread

but fine i'll shut up now :)

No, you have a voice in the poll.

There really is no point in posting in a thread just to say you think the subject sucks...

Tho' it can be funny sometimes. I mean soccer ís kind of a gay wussy sport.

I thought the "Americans keep out" was clear enough

True. But, you know, it's not fun anymore when it stops being that and everybody starts to behave like Totti. :P
I thought the "Americans keep out" was clear enough
Apparently not, eh.
