I have no idea what that fuckhead was thinking, but it was clear that the moment Robbe was replaced we lost the match. Davids and Seedorf, who both played a fantastic match, tried to pull it all together, but there was no hope left. Advocaat got scared, wanted to switch to defense, ugh
Typical Dutch game, too. Whenever we grab the overweight to early we kak in and lose it at the end.
Ugh, it's terrible. If only it had been a tie, we would still have a chance, but now, if the Czech's are smart, they'll tie or lose to Germany, so they play a weaker team out of the pool, keeping us out. Way too likely.

Plus, Dick Advocaat isn't too bad. I think he did a good job getting the people on the field the way he did. However, the substitutions were puzzling at best. Robben was probably the best player on the field, with the possible exceptions of Seedorf and Davids, and he took him out. And putting in Van der Vaart, who hasn't played a single decent match was plain stupid. Gah.
However, we stil have a decent chance. The Germans just need to not win and we need to win, and we'll be in the quarter finals. I doubt the Czechs would lose it, unless they play to lose, which I doubt as well, since they wouldn't encounter the other one until the finals. If you kick out a weaker team, it'll get defeated by someone else later on anyway.

Ehe. Good. Greece went through, Spain staid behind. I'm just disappointed that the games were so boring. Damnit. If the netherlands-Czech Republic hadn't been so great I would've enjoyed these games much more.
